Leia lay down to give her sore paw a rest a whimpered quietly as she thought of the family who's smell still lingered in her matted fur. She appeared to be a completely different dog, cowering under a thick tree whimpering, skin clinging tight to her bones. She'd seen a squirrel the other day and went to chase it but scared it up a tree with her loud limping. Leia rested her tired head on her front paws and closed her eyes. I'll die here. This is the end, she thought to herself sadly.

His kind words did help release some of the tensions she was holding, but she couldn't keep herself strong. Dalla had felt so brave and here she is now feeling like she could collapse. She never really considered that these few dogs were actual pack dogs and they would actually be bringing her here. Dalla had nothing but memories clinging to her back and it shook her. Dalla let out a small yelp as she flinched, almost like something bit her as Dante began grooming her leg. She lowered her head and shame, "Sorry... uh- thank you." She said. She wagged her tail slowly as she tried to show her appreciation. Dalla was never the best with affection or at least how to show it.

Aibu wagged his little tail, "I'm Aibu." He yipped with a little bit of energy. Although Aibu quickly held his enthusiasm, "My momma told me packs were bad." He grumbled. He looked up at the big dog and smiled, "My mom will come back i'm sure of it! Thank you.. H-harley." Aibu spoke, struggling over his name. He felt so confident that his mother was his best supporter and would always be there for Aibu. He was scared to leave and she'd come back and Aibu would be missing.

Cookie beamed and giggle at Dante's display of happiness. The dane wagged her tail happy that Dante was safe and sound. She froze seeing the giant mass of fluff, and whimpered slightly and after watching Dante for a few minutes she realized Dalla wasnt a threat so Cookie offered a small smile and said "hello..." sitting down and thumped her tail curiously on the ground.

Harley cocked his head slightly, pondering Aibu's words. "Packs usually aren't all that bad. We protect each other, tend to each other's wounds, and make sure everyone is fed. Plus, the company is nice," he said, his tail waving through the air. He truly enjoyed living with his pack. Realizing that Aibu thought his mother would be returning, Harley thought of a compromise and hummed, "How about this: I'm gonna take you back to my pack to meet my alpha, and because it's dangerous for you to alone out here. There a dogs meaner than me walkin' about lately that would sooner make a meal out of you than talk to you. Once we get there, I'll tell someone to come back here and wait for your mom to tell her where you are. How's that sound?" He really hoped the pup wouldn't argue with him on this; he didn't want to have to take him to the pack by force.

Dalla glanced over at the sound of a familiar voice. She looked to see Cookie and gave her a small smile. "Uh... hey kid," She spoke silently. "I- I mean't you no harm back there." She offered the young dane an apology. Dalla looked the kid up and down before laying down to maybe make herself appear smaller to the pup. "I don't think I got your name kid." She said with a questioning sound in her voice

Aibu sat down and pondered this thought. He looked up at Harley with worried eyes, "Do you promise someone will come tell my mom where I am?" He questioned the bigger dog. Aibu was nervous as this was something completely new for him. He barely new anything about packs except that his mother warded him away from them. Aibu pawed at the dirt and yawned. He was awfully sleepy and still hungry. Aibu figured it might be best to go with this dog. He did mention scarier, meaner dogs and Aibu wanted nothing to do with that.

The Dane flicked her ear curiously and smiled at Dalla "my name is Cookie. Its because I got spots like something called...chocolate chips?" she partially questioned herself.Cookie didn't remember her humans very much anymore, she was still so hurt she got abandoned and remembers the look on her little girl's face as her parents drove off. She looked up and noticed how anxious Dalla looked and felt slightly bad...she didnt seem like a fluffy monster. Cookie stood and nuzzled herself into Dalla's coat and gave the female an encouraging smile.

"Yes, I promise," Harley said with a slight smile. The wolfhound eyed Aibu's short legs. So tiny. "The pack is pretty far away, and you must be tired. Would you like me to carry you there?" Such a young pup wouldn't be able to travel very far before getting tired, and the boxer already looked like he was about to keel over. Besides, there was no way those tiny puppy legs would be able to keep up with Harley's much longer ones. Not without Harley significantly shortening his strides, that is.

The large dane would rise from her endless slumber her stomach growled loudly as she began to do her morning stretches, conveying the area for anyone around letting forth a deep snort before she began to walk towards the camp edge, as she shook the dust from her back, she placed her muzzle to the ground as she began to move forward scenting out the smell of any prey that might have wondered near the campgrounds.

After a few minutes she had finally caught the scent of a wounded animal nearby, she would let out a deep snarl letting it die down as she began to follow after the scent in a hurry, her paws trampling through the oncoming bushes and branches as she locked onto where the smell of blood was coming from.
