Sleep didn’t come easy these days. So Clio simply didn't bother. Instead of tossing and turning all night, she had been awake, silently watching the dark forest. It was such a different world out her in comparison to what she knew. More dangerous. Yet more adventurous. Compared to the dull walls of the Wyoming Zoo, this was far more exciting. But not everyone felt the same way. Alone with her thoughts, she picked up on a faint cry, and quickly made her way over to the source. “Kodiak?” She didint know the omega that well, but still knew his sound anywhere. Her tension relaxed as she arrived upon him. He was asleep. No real harm, but it was still disheartening to see him suffering from a nightmare. Clio moved closer, and gently nuzzled his neck to try and wake him. “Kodiak? Wake up. It’s just a dream, you’re okay.” Her voice came out in a hushed tone as she gently tried to pull him from his nightmare.

His chest slowly rose and fell as his body shook off the final tresses of rest. He drew his head from where it lay against the ground as he moved to a sitting up position. This life was hard. He wouldn’t deny that. After years of being fed by the humans, suddenly being thrown right into the wilderness was a lot to get your head round even for him. But Tao wasn’t complaining. This was the best thing that ever happened to them as far as he was concerned. They were wild. Free. Exactly where they should be. His eyes opened suddenly to the soft murmur of voices not too far away. As he lifted himself up, he shook off the loose dirt and soil that clung to his coat before making his way forward. Ah, Hathor was already awake. Maybe she was heading for a quick morning scout. Seeing her approach, Eira, he hesitated, not wanting to disturb the pair. He felt there was something between them both. Not that he wanted to ask. It simply wasn’t his place.
