His head shot over to the young female, his eyes narrowing. Coming closer, the male spoke," What is it, Dew? The pups?" As soon as he asked the familiar smell wafted into his nose causing him to whine and take a step back. He glanced out of the den entranced stuck his head out and called," Teja! I need you in here!" Turning back to the female Benedictus gently nosed Dew neck attempting to calm her nerves. " You need to stay calm, Dew. It seems like the little ones are coming."

Again pausing the female smiled and said," Yeah, just yesterday. I'm still a little sore after the work out yesterday." Her ears perked up when Bene called for Teja and frowned," What do you thinks going on Rik?" She turned her gaze her brothers and tilted her head, not caring about her bloodied muzzle.

Letting out a hum the male nodded then said," Yeah, fighting is different from hunting. A Whole different set of muscles." Glancing at the alphas den he paused then barked," not sure, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. Though it might be a while. If Benedictus doesn't come out in a few minutes, I can teach you what I know." The male finished off the small intestine, then began working on the few chucks of meat.

The pale colored female nodded as Sora left, then leapt to her feet moments later after hearing Bene's call. Darting towards the pair of dogs, she skidded to halt in front of Bene and Dew. "What's going on? Are the pups -" She stopped mid sentence then cursed under her breath," Okay, yeah. The puppies are coming. I'm going to need some space in the den, Someone needs to get me Chervil, borage leaves, and Fennel. Now!"

Dew turned her head in a pained way and saw Teja coming her way. She grimaced, not feeling ready. She heard faint calling but she felt very numb. Dew grunted in exhaustion, and put all her strength into the push, felt all weight lift from her body, then blacked out.

Sora raced back and forth, making her speed up to four beats. She panted hard, her heartbeat drumming fast. Sora ran around one more time. She checked the breeze. A two. After all her life, finally, she had gotten a two. She collapsed, but felt happiness jolting through her. Now she had gotten through her brother’s disappearance and possible death. Suddenly, she heard Benedictus Howl something, and saw Teja rushing to him. It couldn’t be......could it? Yes, it could! Her breath turned sharper, and with all her strength, she ran over to the alphas den. Dew was having her pups.

His ears perked up then barked," I know what they look like, I'll get them." He stepped out side the den then barked," I'll make sure everyone knows to stay away. Dew and pups will need to room." He glanced at the scar on Teja neck, That goes double for first time mothers. Bene chuckled then barreled out of camp. Thankfully the Chervil was near camp and easy to find, the borage leaves were a little harder to find. He spent a few heart-beats trying to find the fennel but could find any so he started heading back. Benedictus nearly fell over when he spotted the Fennel right outside camp, carefully picking a few the male darted back into camp and into the alpha den. Dropping the herbs by Teja's paws before going to sit at the entrance to the den to keep others out.

Rasha smiled, and jumped to her paws, "yes! Please! Like now!" She glanced down at her bloodied muzzle and quickly gave it a few quick licks, attempting to clean off the blood. Returning her gaze to Rikiar she let out a soft whine," Come on big brother! I want go! You can finish eating later." The female paws at his shoulder relentlessly, whining softly.

Nearly groaning in annoyance Rikiar quickly finished up his meal, then got up and barked," Alright, Alright. Stop it Rash. Let's go, we don't have all day." Nudging the younger female out of camp, he started leading his younger sibling toward the area that Benedictus trained them at. It was a small meadow, covered in moss to soften any falls. Strangely enough Rikiar found it rather peaceful there, and could be found there from time to time.

The female grimaced when Dew pass out, and muttered," Just great, she can't deliver to pups like this. At this rate, something going to go wrong." Or much worse. Letting out an irritated growl the female began to lick Dews face hoping to wake up the younger female. When Bene got back with the herbs she stopped and put the chervil and Fennel next to Dew, and put the borage leaves a few paw steps away for later. (small fade to black/time skip for the puppens birth anyone?)

Dew slowly awoke, gritting her teeth. She felt the first pup come out. She fell sideways, writhing. How many times did she have to do this?
In total there were three pups, one black and white pup she named Kuro, a silverish white pup named Luna, and a light brown and white pup she named Fawn.

Sora entered the alphas den with caution. She saw Teja and Benedictus, and then saw Dew. Three little, adorable bundles of fur were near Dew’s stomach, nursing eagerly at the milk. She smiled happily, but felt a little bit sad. This was what her brother had wanted to witness. Oh, if only Maki had been here! He would’ve been so happy. Why had he disappeared anyway?

siela had just woken up but she could already tell that the alpha female, dew, was now giving birth to her pups. she was excited but nervous. now there would be pups running around the camps, defenseless pups that they would all have to make sure didn't get hurt. she walked slowly over to benedictus, who seemed to be guarding the den. "how is she doing?" she asked.

Glancing back at the females inside the den, Benedictus hummed, then said," Three beautiful pups so far. I've come to realize that the average a pups per litter is three, so this might be it." Once he returned his gaze back to the younger female he tilted his head then said," You doing anything interesting today?" Looking over the husky, he took his time to appreciate the pretty husky. Siela was a strong female, though rather young. Inwardly flinching it became very clear how old he would be before Dew's pups were considered adults. To him an adult was three years old, a yearling was still a pup and two-year-olds were teenagers.

Dashing after her brother jumping for joy as she did so. Training was always so fun, big brother Bene and big sister Teja always made learning fun and exciting, though it always worked her to the bone. Arriving a few short moments after Rikiar, she paused the said," So what are we going to be working on big brother Rik?" As soon as she spoke, all excitement drained from her body and she became stiff and serious.

" Lets see if you can dodge this." he said before darting towards her, neck out stretched as he bared his teeth. Rikiar would attempt to dig his sharp fangs into his sisters neck and pin her to the ground. He watched Rasha's body, and would react accordingly to her movements.

First time mothers don't always react well to others being near their newborn pups." Not sparing the younger female a second glance, she returned her gaze to Dew and softly said," Dew I need you to eat these. These two herbs will help ease the pain in your hips and belly."

siela glanced into the den with her bright blue eyes. she couldn't really make out their forms but she hear the yelping of small pups coming from the den. "well, three is a fine litter, as long as they are all healthy. one of them will become the next leader after all," she said with a small smile. she shook her head. "no, today my schedule is clear," she said, her tail wagging behind her.

"Is that so?" He murmured, before barking," I was planning on going on a patrol later. Care to join me?" He paused," I mean if your free at the time." Benedictus glanced back at the three newborn pups, wondering which one would be easiest to manipulate. His gaze returned to Siela, and let out a hum waiting for the females answer.

She wasn't prepared for Rikiar to come at her with so ferociously, and yelped. Half turning away and half rearing backwards, the pale reddish and white female only slightly. This caused her to fall onto her side, and do to this she quick found the serious attitude returned. With a sneer Rasha kicked her brothers chest before surging up, snarling and teeth bared.

Rikiar was slightly surprised when Rasha fell then grunted when she kicked his chest. He watched her body movements, and nearly sighed. She's favoring her left side, but that's how Benedictus does it. Rolling out her Rasha's way, Rikiar popped back up at her side and swiftly pinned her down. " Not bad. But your favoring your left side." He paused then said," Let me teach you a good dodging tactic."

"Thanks, Teja." Dew rasped, forcing down the bitter herbs, hoping her tiredness would get better. Miraculously, she felt quite stronger. She smiled as she looked at her three pups, and licked Kuro's head as he started whimpering.

"WHAT?? But she's my sister! I need to be there!" Sora growled at Teja, pushing through to Dew. How DARE Teja stop her from seeing her own kin?! "Dew, are you all right? Who are your pups? has Misu heard the great news yet?" She asked eagerly, licking her sister on the cheek. Sora turned to Siela. "Will you go find Misu? Its ok if you can't..." She mumbled to the light brown husky.

(i just noticed that Dew and Sora are different ages. Lets make them not part of the same litter but they are from the same mother and father)

The female frowned as she was pinned to the ground, and let out a soft whine. Once her brother got off her, and motioned her brother for her to attack. The light reddish-brown and white female barreled down to his brother, growling softly. She watched as Rikiar crouched down and rolled away at the last second. At the speed she was going at the momentum carried her into a tree. She groaned then turned to Rikiar and said," That was cool, and looks easy. Let me try!"

The male flinched as Rasha ran into a tree, and sighed. "Why don't you practice for a few minutes. Then we'll see how you do."

After the pups were born I went to check one that was breathing a little funny. The mother bit me." She paused for dramatic affect," She was my mother."
