[Better Dig Two]

Aiden was in search of Anya, he was excited and was wondering where she could be. He was a little interested in her and was wondering if there could possibly be anything more. Simply not being able to wait Aiden gave a short howl, hoping she could be able to hear it and find him.

King smiled at all the other pups, especially Luki. "Nice to meet you too!" He hummed. "You all seem super cool". King flattened him ears and laid down.

Anya crouched low in the bushes, spotting the small squirrel as it dug for its buried food. She jumped out and quickly got the squirrel when it stuck it's head in the ground. She held it in her jaws, listening to the area around her. Her ears perked up when she heard a deep short howl. Recongizing it as Aiden's, she blushed slightly under her fur. Then, setting her prey down, she gave a soft soothing howl in reply. Anya picked up the squirrel and began to head the way that Aiden was.

The gingery and white she wolf dipped her head a bit. “Yeah, I slept great. Henri was curled tight to me the whole night though...It was odd, because he usually likes a bit of space.” she sighed softly. Shaking herself, she smiled slightly at the black wolf. “Well, we should start heading out then, before they get wound up or something.”

The pup giggled a bit, secretly hoping he didn’t sound too girly however, at his friend’s behavior. “I’m excited too.” he yipped, wagging his tail a bit. When she called Bandit cute, his ears went back a bit, but he shook himself. He dipped his head to King, saying “Y...Yeah, I’m Henri...Buttons is a great friend.”

The tan, minimal white and darkened she wolf glanced to Ash and Jessel a moment. “Well, if everyone else is ready...We can head out now.” she said, in response to Bandit. She smiled when she noticed King, saying “Hello, new one. King is your name? That’s quite handsome. Well...looks like Buttons and Luki are definitely ready to go.”

The tannish golden wolf perked his ears, flicking his tail, still keeping away from the others. Shaking his head, he laid it back down on his paws. Ears flicking a few times, he swept his tail back and forth in the dirt. He huffed softly, shaking his head and staring ahead.

He huffed softly, shaking out his fur and standing up from his crouch, glancing to his sister. No prey had passed by here, so he said “Den, let’s go. I bet we can find some just by walking.” He flicked his tail and perked his ears, checking she was following. When he was sure she was, he began to walk. His nose was scenting the whole time.

She let out a breath, glancing at her brother when the beta stood up. She shook her own pelt out, making a small noise, then nodded at him. She perked her own ears, flicking her tail when he looked back at her a moment. Her nose twitched as she followed, watching the bushes and trees as well.

Soulshard watched as justice left to the medics. He didn't follow her but instead looked at the buck and grabbed some of the meat. He walked over to justice and dropped it in front of her. "Eat up" He said sternly before walking away to get a piece of meat for himself from the buck they hunted. When he walked back over he grabbed a chunk of meat and walked off to a corner of the camp to sit by himself. He laid down and started eating.

The pup nodded at King, then lowered his head and put his ears back, sighing...He squeaked when Buttons nudged him, glancing up at her and whimpering himself. “N-No, you didn’t. I-I just...just...I don’t know! I need to talk... to you, but...we are supposed to be going swimming now...”

After getting smacked by the medics for snapping at them, Soul had dropped a hunk of fresh-kill at her feet. "Thanks.. I guess." she murmured. Another pain rippled through her leg but she had forced herself to stay still, "You're all cleaned up," one of the medics spokes, "Alright.." Justice replied quickly, picking up the meat and walking softly over to SoulShard. She slumped down next to him and started chewing on the deer. "This is surprisingly tender for a buck, don't cha think?" she barked, staring oddly at the food. Justice directed her gaze to Soul, watching him inquisitively.

Aiden listened out and shivered once he had heard Anya's reply, it was so peaceful. Paying attention to the direction it was coming from he quickly headed to her. Meeting at the edge of the forest Aiden smiled at her and gave a small affectionate nudge. "Hey" he smiled joyfully. "If you wouldn't mind, I was thinking maybe we could hunt now. You seem really fun and I think that with our combined skill be could empty this forest. You've already gotten a squirrel so I think we could do it by nightfall" he chuckled giving a slight smirk.

King smiled at Amri's complement. "Thanks! I think I'm handome too" he said playful and got up from the ground. Swimming sounded fun and with Aiden busy he kind of had to anyway.

The pup wondered if he really was such a good friend, he was so much older then the rest...Well, three or four months wasn’t actually that bad, but to a young thing like him it seemed like a lot bigger deal. Shaking himself off, he nodded at Buttons, saying “Okay.” He glanced to Amri when she spoke, tilting his head. “What do you think? Lake?” he asked Buttons, tail wagging again.
