- uzuri bobbed her head slightly "morning oili" and watched as the lioness padded out of the den. Grunting softly still squinting, uzuri pulled herself up onto all fours and after a quick glance around the den padded after oili cautiously. Her lean long-legged strides caused her to catch up with the tawny female easily. As she came up to oili's side she glanced over at mwanga's silhouette on the rock. How that male got up so early with ease confused uzuri beyond comprehension. It was the same with oili, but usually oili slept in enough that uzuri wasn't that confused by her den mate. She cautiously looked back at oili her ears flicking a few pesky insects away. "Do you know if morning hunters have been sent out yet? or do i need to retreat back to the den and hide until they do?" uzuri asked flicking her gaze over to mwanga to check for signs that he had heard. Of course, uzuri was half joking. Hiding in her den, was a true possibility to avoid morning patrol but she also didn't know if morning hunters had been sent out and if they hadn't depending on how many lionesses agreed to participate, she might be apart of it. Yes, hunting in the morning wasn't her favorite job but a job nonetheless. The pride needed morning hunters or they wouldn't eat in the morning, and neither would she. So, uzuri seated herself softly looking to mwanga but kept glancing at oili attempting to read the lioness's emotion passively her jaws parted slightly. Uzuri would wait, patiently if she must for morning hunters to be called. She would do her best, and if her best wasn't enough then so be it.
