“He- he just died,” Ivy said in disbelief, the coyote’s eyes were glazed in shock and her words sounded slight disconnected, Storm had been the only coyote Ivy had cared about since she murdered her mother and Ruby, even Lucky her other sister, also dead, didn’t mean anything to her but Storm was her pup, she may not share his blood but they were as close as Ivy could ever get to another.

Astral felt sadness come over her. She gave Ivy a soft look, knowing that she must be mourning. “I’m so sorry this happened...” she trailed off sadly. She knew there was nothing they could do for the decease coyote but she wished that there was somehow.

I sigh, before talking to Rose again:" Other pups won't hurt you, because: First, they are just pups, they can't be aggressive but curious and playful. I say before taking her carefully near the other pups.

"Ugh... I don't want to!" I said to Wind quietly, so pups wouldn't notice me. She sighs:" Agh... Please, do it for me." I glanced at the pups again, before nodding slowly. Wind's face lightens up as she nuzzles me and trots away. I-I want to do this for my sister, but I'm too shy and, how to say, naive. Yes, naive. I can fall for any lie.

Astral looked from the deceased pup to Ivy several times before looking at Ivy sadly. "I really am sorry. Is there anything a can do?" she asked gently. Awaiting a response patiently, she felt sad but couldn't even imagine how Ivy must feel.

“No there isn’t,” Ivy said her voice slightly calmer yet nowhere near her usual brisk yet feisty tone, the coyote stood up, the only reason she had returned to the pack after Lucky was killed by the cougar was to murder her other sister Ruby but when she was forced to stay to keep Storm safe she had hated it but then she had got comfortable, the young coyote’s eyes still had tears remembering what she had done, Ivy had no regret in her actions, Ruby deserved to die, but it still hurt her the way it had changed her, Ivy’s soul had darkened yet Storm was a brief flicker of light and now he was gone.... Ivy didn’t think she would ever change now.

"That was fantastic!" She said as she saw Kayla catch the sheep. She swiftly bounded over to help her bring it down to the ground and kill it. Running over, she quickly bit at it's back leg and managed to use her body weight to cause it to flip over. Since Kayla had it's neck in her jaws, it didn't take long. Releasing it, she looked down at their catch. "This should be enough to feed the pack for now. We were lucky to find it."

Bursting out of the den, she looked around wildly. "My pups are gone! I can't find them anywhere!" She was frantic and she was looking into every den that she could but her pups were no where in sight. "Where could they have gone!? They might get hurt or killed out there! Ear twitching at Athena's voice, she swiftly exited the den and darted over to her. "Gone? But where would they go?" She went into the den, trying to move to the back and see if they were possibly hiding. It was a tight squeeze and that's when she noticed the small tunnel. "They dug in the den! They must have made a tunnel that leads somewhere but it's too small for me to go through it."

Instantly on his paws at hearing his pups were gone, he rushed over to Athena's side. "Don't worry, we will find them. They couldn't have gone too far. Those two are smart enough to avoid danger." He began to sniff around, trying to find a scent trail.

"Sage can we take a break? My leg hurts!" The small pup had to stop and he flopped down on his side. His back leg was aching and he was clearly slowing down as he limped. Panting, he was tired from climbing and they weren't even halfway up the mountain. It was a really tall mountain though.

"Alright, for now." She said as she sat down to wait for her brother. She knew his leg was acting up and that he needed the break. Otherwise, they would move a lot slower and he would complain the whole time. It was hot so she nudged him enough for him to move into a shady spot with her.

Kayla sees Sierra helping her hold down the sheep as she holds on to its throat, not having to wait much longer until it was dead. Upon hearing Sierra saying that the sheep would help feed the pack, she cant help but feel worried and skeptical about all this. "I guess." she said. "I still feel this was too easy, which is getting me kinda worried. I cant help but worry that this sheep wasnt alone this whole time. Ive seen what farmers can do to coyotes like us who kill their livestock."
