- ‣ aalto hadn't eaten in some time. it was an unlucky week for aalto. the places he usually goes for food had only tiny pickings. his stomach was empty and he needed something to eat now. he wasn't going to be a dead dog today. as he whimpered pathetically to himself, he saw a man across the street with a young child and both of them were munching on pretzels. aalto wagged his tail as he trotted off the street towards them. he yipped softly to get their attention, wagging his tail to appear friendly. instead, the man yelled in his language at aalto and he swung at him. the child wanted to pet aalto and she took pity on him, but the father took aalto for a threat. aalto yelped and he ran into an alley as he shouted at him. aalto sighed sadly to himself as he sat down to catch
his breath.

- ‣ sol growled and as she clamped her jaw on her crate door. her humans always lock her up before they leave for work. Luckily, they come back late at night. She has all day to explore and run free. for some reason, she was struggling to unlock her crate today. it took her a bit, but she finally pushed the lock away and she nudged the door open. she wagged her tail triumphantly and she looked up at the window. the humans moved the laundry back, so climbing onto the washing machine and out the window will be difficult. difficult, not impossible. she climbed onto her crate effortlessly as she backed up against the wall, building momentum as she took a running leap onto the washing machine. a success! she then jumped onto the window sill and squeezed through, landing onto the grass below. her humans always left open the window to let air in. she wagged her stump of a tail and she turned and ran down the street, her id tag jingling as it swung around.
