The year 2024 scientists uncovered the secret to recreating extinct prehistoric species, cloning their DNA,
and giving them life. The impossible worlds we watched in cinematic hits, such as Jurassic Park and World
became a reality, but to uphold public safety and practice caution, these animals and experiments were st
rictly prohibited to extend beyond a large Island off the Coast of South America, which eventually was lega
lized as a country named Prehistorica. People from all walks of life, from all around the world, came to wit
ness this major accomplishments in science and be a part of it until Prehistorica started to grow beyond the
lab, into cities and towns. Even the most predatory of dinosaurs become subject to tameness and domestic
ation over the course of the next few years until these creatures became a part of daily life. These are the
stories of human/dinosaur coexistence, an alternate reality beyond the bloodbaths and armegeddons we
were warned would happen if we played God.

RacingXXXDinosaur Racing is the most popular legal sport in Prehistorica. It composes of three leagues sep
arated by the size of participating dinosaurs. Similar to Horse Racing, there is a Rider and their chosen ste
ed with the goal of completing a set distance within a composed track. Betting is encouraged.

Major LeagueXXXThis league applies to large dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus, Spinosaurus, Indomin
us, Giganotosaurus, Tarbosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus, Tyrannotitan, and others of their size, . Only o
ne winner, 1st place, is awarded at the end.
Middle LeagueXXXThis league applies to medium sized dinosaurs such as Allosaurus, Carnotaurus, Ba
ryonyx, Suchomimus, Ceratosaurus, Irritator, Rajasaurus, and others of their size. Three winners, 1st
2nd and 3rd places, are awarded at the end.
Minor LeagueXXXThis league applies to smaller dinosaurs, mostly raptors, such as Velociraptor, Utahr
aptor, Deinonychus, Dilophosaurus, Guanlong, Pyroraptor, Monolophosaurus, Troodon, and others of
their size. Three winners, 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, are awarded at the end.
Flight LeagueXXX This league applies to winged and/or flying dinosaurs such a Pterodactyl, Alanqa,
Tropeognathus, Tapejara, Quetzalcoatlus, Dsungaripterus, Zhejiangopterus, and others. Three winners,
1st, 2nd and 3rd places, are awarded at the end.

FightingXXXWhile it is considered a legal sport, it only allows sparring between Pachycephalosaurus and Ce
ratopsian groups (Ex. Triceratops, Nasutoceratops, Styracosaurus, Pachyrhinosaurus, Einiosaurus). Contesta
nts breed and train eligible dinosaurs to spar in the ring for an audience of bleachers filled with spectators.
Just like racing, betting is encouraged.

Illegally, usually in self-made rings and hidden from the police, fights are much more brutal and mostly res
ult in death. Here they fights not only legal dinos, but bipedal carnivores and predators such as Dimetrodon
and Ankylosaurus. Currently it is a battle to stop these fights from happening.

ShowXXXA conformation show that rates dinosaur appearances according to certain standards. Similar to dog
shows, the event is separated into two classes, herbivores and carnivores, and sub-classes, males and female
s which are judged apart. There are three winners, each with a specific cash prize, and, depending on the ev
ent, either accompanying trophies and/or medals.

You have more than likely heard of Reva Strong on Prehistorica, an icon in fashion as well as show and league racing. Traveling to the island at nineteen from Cleveland, she was one of the first people to raise a parasaur from a hatchling and the youngest woman to make headlines as a Medium League racer with her Carnotaurus. If you ask her, she will tell you how easy it is to balance a dedicated profession in the fashion industry with equally demanding sports such as show and racing. However, in reality, she has had to work hard and rarely has free time between training, events, working, and interviews. Because of her busy schedule, she does not have many friends and make quite a brief and rude first impression, but once you get to know her she is a very expressive and curious girl who loves to learn and try new things.

Possibly as spoiled as it can get, Jasmine is a prized dinosaur with a near perfect winning record and valuable reputation. She is trained exceptionally well, knowing what to do at what time in every competition, and is a big people pleaser as she was raised by her owner to be. Despite her calm and gracious demeanor, she can become uncontrollably skittish around predators and takes anxiety medication when around them. The only carnivore she appears to be fine with is Spike and even then she prefers to keep a respectful distance when she can.

Spike was an unwanted orphan when Reva found him. After her success with Jazz, she wanted to try her hand at raising a carnivore and entering the races, which had been another dream of hers besides fashion. So she took the hatchling home and raised him, keeping him fit and training him to compete. He took a liking to Jazmine almost instantly and she was forced to be a maternal figure, whipping him with her tail when he played to hard or butting him when he got aggressive. As a young adult, he could be described as a rather cocky individual that likes new people and new dinosaurs. He has wanted for nothing ever since he was adopted and only knows the cushy, domesticated lifestyle of a pet. However, he has earned his place among racing but has yet to attain first place.

Actually, that is not a bad idea. I was searching for more sports/events to include dinos. I will add it on the activities post. I also understand it is hard to find certain pictures for certain dinosaurs, so as an image you are welcome to post a color pallette, or something that would describe the appearance.
