he watched her leave once he was alone again he walked to the nearby spring lapping up his fill of water before looking around unsure what to do. it was boring he didn't get why some wolves chose to be loners what did they do with themselves did they just hunt for fun or wander around aimlessly? sighing he looked around deciding to try wandering for a bit perhaps he would find something interesting to do with himself.

she felt her muzzle warm up slightly as they touched noses and watched him leave standing up and shaking out her fur she glanced around. walking into the trees she decided to scout the area a little and see what herbs and items were in the area so if she were to need anything for healing she would know where to go.

he stepped in the pond, looking around carefully before each step, but out of the corner of his eye he saw a trout. amoureux leapt into that side of the pond, snapping his jaws on the fish. the loner lifted his head, holding the dead fish in his jaws. he set the fish aside, catching two more fish quickly as the pond was full of them. amoureux picked the three fish up, walking back to his den with them.

Then as she pounced on top for him the rolled over and over until they stopped with Juniper on top of Moon. “Do you think it’ll always be like this? Or when we become Trainees that well grow distant and hate each other?” Moon asked him lying beside him peacefully. “I never want to hate you. Your all I’ve got,” She said the last bit under her breath to herself and didn’t know if he had heard it.
