Grey toned buildings towered over the dark grey cat as she slipped into the shadows. Dogs roamed the streets nearby, and she couldnt risk an encounter. Right as a patrol dog rounded the corner ahead of her she darted into an ally way, her fur puffing up.

"That was a close one" She mumbled aloud to herself, as she scanned the bleak ally way. She spotted a doorway , the door absent. She slowly padded in, being cautious.
