Aku smiled as the alpha of the decay introduced himself, "Kodlak, that's a lovely name." She said softly. The female was about to introduce herself but it seemed something was amiss within the alpha's pack. She listened to him as he told her to call for him if his pack members were to give her any trouble. Nodding her head in response she watched as he left her side, "Alone again, interesting." She muttered as she looked at the sky, she began to wonder was pack life something she should seek? or remain a Loner. Looking to her paws, she sighed before beginning to clean her blistered paws.

Kodlak
The large male watched his pack. He narrowed his eyes at where Dixie was. He curled his lip a bit, showing bloodstained fangs. He turned and went inside his den, curling up in the back before resting his head and closing his eyes. However he didn't sleep, he stayed awake listening to the pack.

He smirked as he followed behind her, rather curious. He was careful not to make much noise, he was quite impressed with how fast she was able to find prey. The most he had found in the past few weeks was a rabbit.

She continued to stay low, every step was silent. Nothing but the breeze which was softly flowing through her fur. The bucks senses started kicking in and it lifted its head. Thats when she struck, her hind legs pushing up from the ground launching towards her prey, the buck only made it a few feet but Dixie jumped farther. Her claws got a hold of the bucks hind quarters, she then fastened her teeth to it's neck. It struggled for a few still the buck became lifeless as it hung from Dixies jaw.

He let out a groan, and rolled his eyes. Part of him just wanted to grab the kill and run off, but something about the female made him want to stay. He felt the need to be around her, she made him feel like he meant something. That he wasn't just another lonely, meaningless brute.

Dixie lets out a sigh of irritation then grabs a hold of the deers neck once again. "Lets go hot shot" the mumbles with the kill still in her mouth. the started off towards the camp, stepping backwards dragging the deer against the forest floor
