Darkness looks around the woods looking for something to hunt she sees a herd of deer she doesn’t see any other wolves around she slowly looks for a weak deer she spots one she stars to padded towards it what seems like a walk going to a sprint into a full run she splits up the deer from the rest of the pack she bites the leg hard swooping around again and biting it again she looks at it falling she bites the deers neck crushing its bones,she drags the deer in a whole hour she thinks to herself “why do I have to do this bye myself”she drops the deer at the camp looking at her alpha she walks into her den and painting she lays there know she just had to wait for the first wolf take a bite out of the deer,she keeps her eyes on the deer drifting off to sleep.

Sunset had been scouting around just outside of camp ever since she had woken up that morning. It was mostly an excuse to avoid mostly pointless banter that occurred right after everyone would wake up and just before they would set off with their daily chores. She figured she'd go back before she missed any important announcements from the head guard or the alpha, so she picked up her pace and trotted back to camp. Once there, she sat off at the side to cool down a little without even noticing she had sat right next to another packmate! She turned around to see Arctic's silver fur. She paused for a moment and then yelped out "Ah, Arctic! I didn't see you there! I hope I'm not disturbing you..."

Zodiac had been up since the crack of dawn, wandering around forests in search for easy prey that could fill him up for the rest of the morning. Suddenly, he caught the scent of something familiar, it was faint, but he knew he was capable of tracking it. He crouched down and followed the scent trail. As the scent got stronger, he finally recognized it; Rabbit! He got close enough to see the creature peacefully grazing on some leaves, and dropped down to the point the fur on his belly was grazing the floor beneath him. Suddenly, a twig snapped underneath his paw, the rabbit's head shot up and its gaze met Zodiac's for a split second. The rabbit dashed off into the wilderness before Zodiac could know. There was no time to think, he jumped up and gave chase. As he was about to pounce on it, the rabbit dissapeared into a hollow beneath a tree stump. Zodiac stopped abruptly, and after observing the hollow for a few seconds, he started digging it out as if his life depended on it. After a few seconds of digging out dirt, roots and a couple of earth worms, he sat back down to catch his breath. He dropped his head and sighed deeply before muttering a few curses under his breath.

Axel continued to move in silence, his ears flattened against his head. He had left his den in hopes of finding something to eat, but somehow he felt his hunt wasn't going to go well. Already he was growing tired of searching, but he didn't need to push this off. He stopped, his breath turning into mist before him as he gazed around, his ears perked as he tried to detect any signs of life. He then heard the sound of heavy pawsteps, which indicated that a wolf wasn't far off, probably in pursuit of something. He silently followed, although he kept a quicker pace as not to lose track of the other wolf. He then stopped, now spotting the other wolf not far off, seeming displeased. He then caught trace of rabbit and he understood that the other wolf had missed out on a catch, which would explain his frustration."That really sucks."he stepped forward, although he showed no signs of hostility. It was clear that this wolf wasn't with a pack, so he felt engaging in conversation would be less dangerous. However, he knew that only wolf could be dangerous, so with that in mind he braced himself for a possible attack."You were certainly fast, i'm sure you'll do better next time."his voice wasn't teasing, but it wasn't kind either, more emotionless."Ah, I should introduce myself, shouldn't I?"he dipped his head, speaking up as he did so."I'm Axel."he looked at the other wolf, Zodiac, trying to determine if they were a threat. Usually he wouldn't even approach a wolf in the first place, but it had been ages since he had lost spoken to another wolf and he longed to have some social interaction.

Quinton was resting in camp, silently planning a hunt. To him the pack was priority and if the hunters didn't provide enough then some wolves would go to sleep hungry. He pushed the thought aside, determined to catch enough, even if that meant he was in the forest all day. He got to his paws, about ready to leave, when he noticed Darkness return. She seemed exhausted and he could easily understand why, she had clearly made a difficult hunting trip. He decided to push off his hunting trip a bit longer, although he knew he would have to head out soon."Hey Darkness."he spoke as he approached the other wolf, his voice warm and enthusiastic as always."Seems you've had an thrilling hunt."he added, a small smile on his face as he did so.

Aspen stood from her sitting position and casually trotted around camp in an energetic manor. That hunt had tired her out only for a moment. Now she was rearing to get back out and do something again. She was debating whether to go out and hunt again or to patiently wait until she was needed.

He turned to look at the female who had settled down beside him. "Well watch where your going next time." he grumbled. "Well then, what did you need Summer?" he questioned impatiently yet uninterested in speaking with the female at all. Though he had just initiated a conversation. How stupid of him. They had no merit." He added bitterly, he hated his birthpack upon learning of
the newer way of wolves which he felt to be right and true. He chuckled at her grumble
and an amused smile toyed at his muzzle which soon faded as the scent of a rogue (Axel)
crossed his nose. He let out a rumbled growl, "A rogue has passed
through recently." He said to Yirre, his mindset completely shifting from
their previous conversation. Instead he was fixated on the scent, aggression rolling
from his pelt in steady waves. He was fiercely protective of the pack and hated loners
with most of his being.

Rayne only sighed but smirked when the loner left the perch to circle her, she merely
swished her tail to and fro and leapt atop it, laying on the perch with her front
paws crossed. "I'd tell you to go ask the brute who had it closed
but," She paused and looked at Casanova blandly, "I killed him." She
said it nonchalantly though she felt the searing pain of her first heart-break
like a bullet in her chest, a bullet that left a hole she called Novak. "While
I appreciate you calling me pretty and all, you're barking up a broken tree my friend." She
said, but her face seemed to be amused and less annoyed the more the male went on
he was interesting, that's for sure and seemed relatively harmless. "While I may
be pretty I'm not dumb nor do I need a buddy with me. I quite like to patrol alone. Otherwise
I wouldn't be able to carry on a conversation like this very one." She added, and pulled her
tail to the side. It had been some time since a wolf carried on with Rayne like this, she found
it refreshing yet amusing and slightly aggravating.

Zodiac was still sitting there muttering insults to himself when Axel popped out near him. Zodiac jumped up, fur standing on end,
but hadn't flattened his ears or showed off his fangs yet... "Ummm... thanks?" he said in a mildly annoyed tone. He certainly wasn't expecting to encounter another wolf here, but he tried to be polite regardless. He took a couple steps
forward towards Axel and said "Well? Nice meeting you Axel... I guess.. he sniffed Axel, only to then jerk it back suddenly. It wasn't like the scent of other wolves he had encountered recently. "Say... you wouldn't be a pak wolf... would you?" he asked.
