Anastasia greeted the new members and decided to go hunting for a feast. She darted through the forest sniffing around for a scent and was shocked to smell and elk wich is rare in these woods. She slowly stalked through the brush and was shocked beyond belief to see a female and her foal since foal meat is extremely rare. she decided she would take out the female first and the foal would be easy to kill afterwards. she waited patiently for the next half hour until the elk-female had lain down and dozed off to pounce and bite deep into her neck the elk-female fought and bucked throwing herself around and Anastasia's paw got crushed she whimpered but fought on and bit even harder until the elk-female dropped to the ground she then turned and swiftly snapped the foals neck and collapsed on the ground in pain for she had broken her paw. She howled weakly for help and fell unconcious.

She was getting worried and howls for Shadow, as she lays down around the pups letting them curl up around her again. She stays looking at the dens door. she puts her head down next to the tiny ones, seeing them moving around and whining. She looks around seeing the den is covered in moss, that is soft and pliantly of leaves to make a bed in. She was okay with being in her, at lest until the pups can move around with her.
