castiel lifts his head, gazing his eyes around through the strands of his forelocks lying across his vision. unfolding his legs from under him he lifts himself up, walking about a step forward before sticking his head out of his stall.
looking up and down the hallway stalls he sees about every door open, ears pinned as usual he lowers his muzzle onto his stable door latch sliding it across. backing his head out of the door he then pushes it open and the sound of the sliding door echos through the stables. snorting he walks out, hooves clapping on the polished wood. walking down the hallway he heads towards the barn door thats open. no other horses were in the stalls, no smell of his humans reached his nose. walking out of the barn the sun shined in his eyes, quickly closing them he tried adjusting his eyes to the brightening sun. the pastures were empty, not a soul in sight.
this late in the afternoon there would at least be someone in the ring. this stable had always been punctual in timing their rides.
looking across the other side of him, no fences... picking his hooves up he began a light gallop towards the freedom he could see.
now far away from what he called home, he looked around.. nothing but open fielding for days to come. pining his ears he casually walked around, head lowered he grazed every now and then until he was to satisfy his need.

luke stands in the pasture, darting his eyes around looking for his rider to put him away. but his eyes catch sight of no one, and nothing in his vision. shaking any lose dirt in his mane, he walks towards the wooden railing keeping him in. snorting he walks around waiting and waiting for his rider, but its been long enough for him. he's usually patient but this was too long. slightly stretching out his muscles the colt burst forward with speed leaping over the wooden railings. landing effortlessly on the other side of the fence. being a colt sired from high lineage he was well kept and well trained. he was becoming a prize jumper but his rider no where in sight nor smell. because he didn't want to just leave his rider in a hurry, he began walking off. if his rider cared or came back he would stop and follow her back but so far nothing.
after leaving the fence that held him, he was free. but he knew nothing of being free. he's only heard wild horses not far off but never has seen them. now walking along, well-groomed, the colt wandered endlessly.

astrapia flicked her ears back and forth to keep sight of the colt prancing around behind her. he may not have been hers by blood but he was hers and hers only. his dam had died after giving birth and the colt somehow survived quickly with another mare in place. the colt then got transferred to astrapia's little farm, and she took him in. she was nothing but a horse kids that were around would play with, being so gently her farmer never mind where she was, so she constantly wandered and of course the colt followed. teaching him patience was her goal, any mare he met he was to address them properly and act properly. but when its just them he was a goofball. heading back towards the little farm she caught no scent of her farmer nor sight of him. with a confused expression she saw his truck sitting there, that being his only transportation besides her. his door wide open, swinging in the wind. snorting she felt uneasy quickly turning her body around, nudging aidan to move along.
now being alone in the open plains, she only knew stories of wild horses. sometimes she'd watch them run across the hill that passed her farmers home. but she knew no idea how to survive but without her farmer they'd die. trying not to scare the colt she looked back at him giving a sweet smile as usual.

sage cautiously peeked her head out of the barn door that she felt safety in. ears pinned back uncomfortably. walking out of the barn her owners no where in sight. slowly walking out the barn she glanced around. not even another horse in her line of sight. letting out a huff of air she continued forward towards less civilization. eventually after however long she reached the middle of nowhere. nothing in sight for miles but grass. not even a tree.. continually moving forward. a dressage horse she was before her humans disappeared. a good one with great promise she heard people say. her coat was triking which helped draw attention to her. but also a side affect of her was her skittishness. she could only be ridden by one or two riders,
others she freaked out and bolted in any other direction. though she was a sweet mare who intended no harm, almost everything scared her. she was taken from her mother as soon as she began eating grass. without a mother's protection the filly became skittish to everyone and everything her whole life.

desire, a horse with racing promises. yet, there she stood in her stall. alone. opening her eyes the mare heard no sounds, which was strange being in a stable full of energize racehorses. standing to her feet the mare looking around, every stall empty around her. feeling uncomfortable she turned her body around, a sliding door for every horse that opened in the morning. pushing it open the mare walked into the pasture, to her surprise nothing. just grass. snorting, she felt happy for a bit. bolting around the pen she had so much energy after her long sleep. creating a trail of dust behind her as she ran in circles along the fence line. but soon the mare felt lonely, where were her friends, rider, her little herd? they weren't there. her eyes then caught a glance of the fence gate swinging open and closing again. trotting towards it she walked out. walking around the entire stable grounds, she saw no one. with the feeling of being alone, she decided to leave her safe home.
having left the civilization she knew well, there she stood in open plains full a flush grass, and trees here and there. this was like a paradise but to her, she loved racing. she knew she wasn't the greatest racer but she was getting there with her rider. but she knew now she had to adjust her life to something new to survive the new world.

aidan pranced around being the goof ball he usually was. yet he was a complete gentleman in others company. kicking and bouncing up and down playfully behind his adoptive mother. they bother knew they weren't blood but to him she was his mother and she accepted that. coming closer to the farm the colt calmed down walking up next to his mother but she stop with a confused look, just looking at the farm. unsure of what was happening the colt nudged his mother but she just turned around pushing him with her. following reluctantly, he felt a bit worried thinking something was wrong but a reassuring smile from his dam brighten his little spirit. he knew he was getting older, soon he'd be a stallion but he'd still be alongside his mother, protecting her from all harm.
