The silvery wolf stumbles through the forest. Blood stains the ground beneath him. He is alone and defeated; he has challenged a proud alpha for a role that was not his to play. His eyes glint, ambitious and cunning. The sky is splattered with the color of his wounds by the setting sun. "I'll have my revenge," he croons softly, "One day. Soon..." His pelt slips into the lengthening shadows.

Years after the fall of the evil alpha Nox, the three packs Stonepack, Emeraldpack, and Pinepack have lived in peace. But Nox's legacy remained, growing stronger and stronger as the years passed. A storm greater than the taiga has ever seen before will rage, and the strength of every wolf in the land will be put to the test. But will the combined strength of all the wolves in the land be enough to win the war?

three. One blow per post and do not state the injury inflicted. Only dodge one out of five blows.
four. No instant healing. If a character takes a hit, it's gonna hurt!
five. Be realistic; for instance, a single wolf cannot take on a whole pack and come out unhurt, nor can a single wolf take down a whole pack on their own.
six. Don't be your own mate or crush.
seven. No magic or superpowers, or unrealistic colors.
eight. No major plot twists without my consent.
nine. If a pack claims new territory, it must be claimed with a full battle, or surrender. No "it belongs to them now"
ten. I'm not gonna badger you about it, but I'd really appreciate it if you turned your signatures off on the RP thread.
eleven. Do not post forms on this thread. Post them on the forms thread.
twelve. This isn't exactly a rule, but generally the only packs that we will be playing in this rp are Stonepack and Darkpack, for the sake of keeping track of all the characters.

Note: For the sake of drama, these rules may be broken, but beware the consequences. Also note, the last two rules do not apply to Darkpack.

one. The word of the alphas is law. Don't question them.
two. Alphas get first claim to food, followed by alpha's pups (if any), betas, and then packmates.
three. In times when food is scarce, the priorities are pups, nursing she-wolves, the alphas, and then betas. Packmates cannot eat for any reason until pups and nursing she-wolves are fed; if they are caught, they will be severely punished.
four. Only the alphas are allowed to punish packmates. Betas may verbally reprimand packmates if they are disobedient.
five. If the beta takes a mate, the alphas must approve them before they will be considered as a beta of the pack. If the alphas do not approve, they will not be promoted. By the alpha's decision, the current beta will either be demoted or forced to choose a new mate (most likely being the former).
six. While it is frowned upon to take a mate from another pack or a loner, it is not explicitly forbidden as long as your loyalty to your pack comes first, as times might change and you might meet them in battle or have to part ways with your mate one day. The exception to this rule is taking a mate from Darkpack; this is never allowed.
seven. No wolf can neglect a pup in pain or danger, regardless of its pack or parent.

Alpha Male. A leader of the pack and mate of the alpha female. Equal in rank to the alpha female
Alpha Female. A leader of the pack and mate of the alpha male. Equal in rank to the alpha male
Beta. Second highest ranking wolf. Will take the place of the alphas when they die unless they are challenged.
Packmate. All regular wolves. Middle rank.
Pup. Young wolves that do not have official ranks yet. Pups are all wolves under the age of eight months.
Loner. No rank. Wolf does not belong to a pack.
