For years, these horses roamed the plains, ruled the mountains, ran through the forests, swam through the rivers. For years stallions gathered herds, raised foals and led on their lineage. For years, foals were born, history was made.

Nothing has changed during those years. But now, things have, and will.

New, domestic horses have moved in, feeling the urge to run free with those like them.

New predators have moved in, and mares fear for their children's lives.

Joined with their one-domestic kin, herds strike out, trying to stop the changes, and thrive in their home.

♙ Patience

The most important thing here. Many people are caught up with stuff IRL, and you can't expect them to be on when you need them.

♙ Power-Playing

Power-playing is not allowed here. Every character has a weakness, and not every mare or stallion will win a fight. You have to accept this, and when a battle takes place, message me so I can roll to see who wins.

♙ Breeds & Coats

Ponies, mustangs, drafts, arabians, any horse breed is welcome here. I only ask you do not use a drawing/painting for your character's image. No unrealistic coats as well, this is a realistic role-play.

♙ Ages & Breeding

As this is a realistic role-play, stallions and mares over the age of 17 will not be accepted. They must age past 17 on their own.
Mares start losing fertility at 15 years, and stallions come into their 'prime', when they are most likely not to lose a fight. Keep in mind a stallion who is older than his opponent by 3 or more years has a hgher chance of winning. A 6 year old stallion won'y beat a 12 year old stallion.

♙ Twins

As this RP is based on wild horses, I will allow 1 or two people to have twins a year. Once you have twins once, you have to wait until I say it's fair.

♙ Seasons

The season begin and end during different times, and some seasons are longer than others.
Lengths of the Seasons:
Spring - 30 pages
Summer - 20 pages
Autumn - 20 pages
Winter - 10 pages

♙ Literacy

You can have as many characters as you can handle, but everyone is required to write 5 sentences per adult. I understand foals are hard to write for, so foals 1 year and under are required 3 sentences.

♙ Signatures

Signatures made the RP pages longer, so in that light, signatures must be disabled. Not doing so results in a strike, and if we ask you 3 times, you will be banned for 1 week.

♙ Herds

All horses will start out alone, unless they are with their foal. Foals 5 months or under without a mother will not be accepted.
A herd will be consider a herd when the total number of adults is 3.

♙ Forms

All forms and OOC chat must be posted on the discussion thread, linked at the first post.

♙ Strikes/Bans

Strikes are earned by being rude, or disobeying staff. A ban is made when you receive 3 strikes. Depending on the severity of the strikes, ban lengths vary.

Cinnamon lifted her head and peered around the landscape. A light breeze blew through her main and with a sigh, she shook her mane out. She swung her large head around and itched an annoying itch spot on her back. After her head returned back to its normal position, she scanned the landscape once more. Not another horse was in sight, so with a sigh she headed east, towards the wet smell of a river. She trotted slowly, her hooves hitting the floor at a slow tempo.

Jigsaw lay in a large, tall patch of grass. He raised his head over the grass and saw what he was 'hunting.' A large, lonely sunflower stood swaying slightly in the breeze. Jigsaw watched it with content, then decided suddenly to jump up. He took the one leap needed to stomp on the sunflower. He jumped in place atop the flower before lowering his head slowly down to it. He sniffed it carefully. 'Yup, you're dead' He thought to himself, huffing a large breath onto the sunflower. He rose his head and walked away from the crime scene, ensure one last hoof landed on the head of the flower. He flicked his tail happily, as if he had just won the best battle.
