- the black fox had been awake for awhile now, having wondered out of camp in order to attempt to hunt, he wandered the snow covered forest, ears pricked and eyes focused ahead of him. in all the time he had been out scouring the forest he had only been able to catch one scrawny, bushy tailed woodrat, which dangled lifelessly between his jaws. not that he wasn't satisfied with his kill, after all, something was better then nothing, and it was particularly rare for archer to actually get something seeing that his dark pelt against the snow didn't exactly bode well for him most of the time, which was exactly why archer preferred to hunt at night when he could hunt in the safety of the shadows.
stepping into camp, archer held his head high, eyeing rex with a cold stare as he walked passed the arctic fox, only looking away from the alpha male once he had placed the woodrat down on the small pile of other dead animals. it was obvious that archer wasn't particularly found of his leader, and he wasn't afraid to show it. the large fox then walked over and plopped down in the center of the camp, not bothering to acknowledge any other of the foxes, he closed his eyes and wrapped his matted tail around his paws as the rising sun shined down on his black and silver fur.
