The Calling - Big cat rp - Open

This is a story about three young big cats who grew up together as brothers in a big city zoo. On the night of a solar eclipse they all had a a unique dream of a landscape in whoch they have never seen before and animals that they have seen here in the zoo where there as well but in great numbers, they saw there own kind and the freedom they possed and the three brothers decided after talking to answer to this calling, a calling that burned brightly in there souls.

One night a storm hit the large city and power went out everywhere. Could this be there chance to leave this closed yet safe confinment, to search for whats calling. Miraculously they where able to find a way to escale the zoo and get aboard a cargo boat heading to africa. The trip on the boat itself took them 12 days, they had to scavange off of rats, seagles and other meet scraps from the humans in which they threw away. Once they arived the cubs had a very dificilult time getting through the city villages, that in itself took them a month to finally make it out of the borders of the villages, but now they had to cross what seemed to be a empty, HOT dry dessert to make it to the location that seemed to be calling them.

Possesing there own strengths talents and perks can the three brothers survive together to whats going to be a 6
Month journey to make it to there place of calling. Will r be worth what they left behind? What will happen when they get there? Will they stay together? Or will there instincts and different calling seperate them? Will they still be brothers in the end?

For now the rp is open to just 3 people (me and 2 others) but once the three make it to the place of calling we will open up 9 more spots, (3tigers)(3leopaeds)(3lions). Chapter 2 is when that will happen and im hoping that will be around page 100 at LEAST

The young male tiger rose to his feet and parted his paws revealing his teeth in a huge yawn, he stretched his legs and looked around, the trio was lucky to find a placr to sleep out of the sun in this desert. "I wonder if we will be able to catch some breakfast today.. I think i could eat a whole hippo!" Jakoba complained, the one who was built for out of the three would probably be Inkanye, there kind are ment for it, while they are not quick like cheetahs they are quite fast, then there was lior who would be great with climbing... But no trees... He had brute strength on his side but still... What WAS out here they could eat. "Well hopefully we find somthing.."

Inkanye's eyes were closed. He could hear the noises around him, so many noises. It felt... good, to be out in the open. He hadn't smelled a human scent for days, and he was loving it. The lion's amber eyes opened to the sound of moving near him. Jakoba was up and active, it seemed. Inkanye rose to his paws as well, and glanced around for their third brother.
"I've heard tales of hippos, but I've never seen one." The lion grunted in his gruff voice to his tiger companion, "And from what I've heard, they are the nastiest things on the Serengeti. I would not mess with one."

Lior sat a little ways off from the other two, grooming himself, scanning the horizon for threats and trying not to breathe too deeply lest he lose more water than he already had.
Their last kill had been a couple of days ago, and it was starting to show; Inkanye's new-grown mane seemed to be a little lighter, Jakoba was lagging behind the rest of the group, and only Lior seemed to be more or less the same as usual, though how long his leopard's nature would keep him ahead of his brothers wasn't clear. He'd rather not test it.
"Do we know which way we've been going?" What? Someone had to ask, and, he figured as he turned his head towards the other two, it might as well be him. Even a small desert was dangerous if you didn't keep to the landmarks, of which there had been precious few lately; although thus far no storm had blown away the trail of their scents and footprints, that was only a matter of time. "It shouldn't take us long to cross the desert if we head in a straight line. Maybe we can handle another couple of days without eating."
Especially if the alternative was death. He didn't... the idea of death deeply unsettled Lior, on an existential level, if he could conceive of one.

Jakoba looked over to lior his leopard conpanion, "i dont think this is a smalll desert it wont take is a few days... Definitelt a few months.. Well a month at least, we cant travel far or long in terrains we are nit even used to.. And i definitelt dont want to do this journey on a empty stomach.." Jakoba told them. He knew lior just wanted to not waste time and just be there, but jakoba had see somthing like this on hid handlers tv when he was just a cub and in there office room. "Besides there sre human villages out there.. We need to tread carefully.." Once he knew his companions where ready to go he set off in the same direvtion as before, they would keep heading west, until they arived. As they where walking the smell of another animal hit his nose he kept going until he saw thwm, a heard of cattle being led by a few humans. just as i figured there must be a village close by... Hunting those cattle would probably be a very bad idea, he heard from one of the older tigers from his enclosure who was once wild that those who hunt the humans cattle where usually hunted down. "We should avoid them i think..." His stomach growled but he knew better.

Inkanye remained silent as the Tiger and Leopard spoke to eachother about the subject of food. He was big, he was hungry, but he kept his mouth shut and his eyes ahead of him. There were occasional creatures dashing between rocks, small ones, hardly a proper meal and too diffficult to hunt with his big paws. Was this all a bad idea? Would they survive to the end? When Jakoba mentioned a month, Inknanye's heart sank. Would they make it that long. He kept his head low and his eyes alert, continuing to say nothing.

Lior exhaled sharply out his nose, pondered everything for a few moments and turned to Jakoba seriously.
"As much as I don't like it, things check out... You're right. It'll take about a month at our pace."
So then what? They couldn't live on rodents for a month. They would eventually lose the ability to hunt anything at all if they did that. And they couldn't hunt together -- neither of the other two were particularly good in this environment, were they? -- so there was nothing really to do about anything if they pressed on. Briefly it occurred to Lior that if they followed and periodically ambushed an encampment of travelling humans, they may be able to feed themselves, but the threat of sarcoptic mange and the sundry other infections alleged to come with man-eating was -- for now -- still too terrifying, especially to someone who'd never suffered them before, to contend with. They'd have to sacrifice headway made along the journey to scavenge, or they'd starve.
As little faith as he had in the capacity of his brother to understand this now, he was certain both Jakoba and Inkanye would -- if Inkanye had not already -- come to the realization that a degree of walking in circles was necessary eventually. When it was needed, they would know. Maybe. Hopefully.
"We should try to spend at least some time digging dens each dawn now, I think," he mused as he walked. "So it may be longer... unless you really love locusts, in which case we can keep sleeping in the open. The vulture we met a couple of days ago said the season for them is coming. Either way, guys -- we have the night ahead of us. Let's try to make at least the same headway as yesterday."

"Mmm i dont know we are running on empty stomachs and if we dig now, even if we are able to make dens big enough for all of us to sleep in.. It will have depleted are energy and even with sleep we still need to replenish our strengrh and energy with food and water" he spoke after pondering liors words kver. The big tiger male looked over to there lion brother. "Whats on your mind inkanyr?" Jakoba asked. He was quiet and jakoba knew that when he went quiet .. Somthing was bothering him. Jakoba paused. What move should they make.. They needed to reach the place of calling, they had to!

Inkanye looked up at the warming sky, "I've been told about what wild lions have to face. There is one season, the dry season, they call it, which is like this. There is little water and the prey is scarce. It happens once every year. Wild lions handle it. I should be able to as well." He replied, raising his head on his shoulders. The idea made him feel strong. Despite this, he was terrified, worried that he could never make it like the real lions did. What if he could not handle this desert? He'd never be able to take the dry season! He'd never make it wild!
