Jessica sighed softly. “It was a bit ago. Just difficult to deal with sometimes.” She smiled as she received the hug. “Uh, protective...already he is very protective.” She sighed with a small smile. She liked doing things on her own but she knew solom wouldn’t let her anymore.

Skylar raised an eyebrow, not exactly what she was wanting but she'll take the information. She covered herself up with a few obvious comments. 'Of course, theres a war going on and he wants to have his pups live... through the war".

Jessica shrugged. “Well if you think about it, life shouldn’t just stop for a war and who knows when it will be over. There might never be a good time.” She said thoughtfully.

Skylar nods in agreement "thats right..." she said then thought about it for a second. 'Continue on with life' she thought. "Why do you think is going to be the next mates?" she asked "Chip and Pantheon have something going on don't you think?"

Skylar looked away from Jess and let out a sigh "Well..not really" she said trying to think up an excuse 'All this healing I have to do, I don't get the chance to think about males..." she said darted her eyes back and forth from Jess' flirty ones.

Jessica frowned and nuzzled her friend. “Aw hunny, he’ll come around and think about you.” She said reassuringly. Everything had a place and a time.

Skylar whimpered quietly, looking solidly at the ground "Would you be concerned if 'he' was from the other pack? like hypothetically?" she whispered, hoping she didn't hear her. She covered her mouth and walked out of the den, tears coming out of her eyes as she spoke the truth.
