The canine gave a short chuckle at Malia's reply, turning his head to glance over at her as they walked. "Well thank you, that's very nice to hear." It truly was. At times, he doubted his own ability to lead an entire back, though luckily, he had never made any large mistakes in regard to them. It was only on his bad days, however, and it pushed him to work harder at making the pack the best he could given the current situation. Of course, things weren't perfect, but nothing was anymore. He thought for a moment before answering the Collie's question, shaking his head softly as he did. "Not specifically, no. Things seem to be in order, so I'll probably just check in with the others throughout the day so see if they've picked up on anything that I haven't." Corvid was heading back towards the main pack grounds, where many of them seemed to sleep and hang around.

The slim canine quickly hopped forward as she was snapped at, casting a rather irritated glance back towards him. She quickly covered this up with her usual, slightly teasing expression, shaking her head and making a low clicking sound, as if she were scolding him for his behavior. "Sure, sure, I'm going." Of course, she was only heading deeper into the city, where she would turn and head back out were she truly trying to run away from him. She felt his whiskers briefly skim her heels, his teeth narrowly missing. "Hey! Be nice to the lady." She picked up her pace, heading at a slow trot and watching the brute carefully. If he started to go after her, she's pick up her speed once more. Cyris was unsure if he really wanted a chase, so his actions were somewhat confusing. He hadn't tried to outright attack her, and she assumed that was something he'd do before letting her get away, if he was planning on it. She'd run if he'd chase, though she'd really rather not.

Mercedes

Mercedes shrugged. "I was about to hunt but I guess you did it for me", she smiled, letting out a brief chuckle. Her tail wagged slightly as she was a happy about meeting someone new. "What about you?", She asked curiously with a tilt of her head.

"Your welcome m'lady" He said almost in a accent with a chuckle. Glancing at her tail wagging, his did as well as he sat down to think. "Hmm, I don't think I'm doing anything today, I'm Isaac by the way" The canine said rather happily to have met her. "I might go hunting later would you want to join me?" He offered to her later followed by a few more words. "You'd get to eat" he said with a slight teasing tone as he winked at her.

She smiled softly as she continued walking beside him. "Don't thank me" She softly giggled with a thought in mind. The alpha was strong and a great leader. Even though he made the slightest mistakes, it wouldn't really matter since everyone does mistakes at one point. She admired the pit bull in his work, to keep going in his path, and lead them. The Alpha title was big, so was the responsibility. She's wondered many times if he's had even the slightest time to himself. With all the pushing he does to himself. She snapped back out of her thoughts as the canine spoke. She nodded as she glanced at him she really couldn't read him. "So some normal rounds, well I hope that goes well." She said for some reason still following a bit behind. "I guess I better go start Patrolling, bye Corvid I shall see you around" She said with a turn trotting off. Her large fur coat that kept her warm bouncing with the rhythm of her trot.

Emmie was up and running, she was ready to eat as her stomach grumbled. She once learned that bugs were good to eat with lots of nutrients. With doubt she didnt think once of eating the gooey ugly bugs. She ran around the city on the road, looking at all the differemt rusty cars. As curious as she was the young canine climbed into one of the cars, through its open back door the cushion was rough but sleepable. she sniffed around curiously seeing if there was much of anything in the car.

Cole woke up to the sun in his eyes, picking up his large self from the cold floors of an apartment. Holes in walls he made his way down the stairs. He liked sleeping here a sense of peaceful especially with its old rugs. Which made it nicer. Taking his steps slowly he decided to think where the others could be at this time of day, Bright and early. As he made his way outside Cole wandered around the piles of rubble before going into what seemed an old store.

Mercedes

She offered a smile and watched as the male sat. She also sat, not wanting to be standing which would tire her out. "I'm Mercedes, nice to meet you", she politely said, in a joking manner. After hearing him speak about hunt her ears perked, laughing as he teased her. "Y'know I can hunt too not just eat", she pouted playfully. Her eyes locked with his as she gave him a smirk.

June let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding. He had agreed to come with her! Alexei also didn't give any indication that he had noticed her nervousness, which was another plus for her. Her heart skipped a beat as the black borzoi stood and looked down at her. He was so tall and so handsome with the perfect traits to match her own. She was so focused on him that she nearly missed what he was saying. "I was thinking we could try going a little further out than usual. There's bound to be more prey. I'm sure we can handle any threats...if any come our way." June suggested. It was true. The prey in the area near their camp was gradually beginning to thin out, meaning that some had most likely fled the area. She was also very confident that the two could handle any imposing threats.

Corvid returned her friendly smile, his head turned to the side so that he could look at her as they walked, every once in awhile glancing forward so that he did not make a fool of himself by tripping over anything. His head nodded to her comment. "Yup, same as normal rounds. Guess we can't escape the monotony even living in this time." The alpha gave a low chuckle, pausing as he realized that Malia wasn't keeping up. He was about to ask if something was wrong, but she spoke again a moment before he was able to. She was trotting off before he was even able to formulate a reply. "Alright, Malia, I'll see you later." He watched her for a moment, then turned on continued on his way.

He was shocked that she didn't run off... He noticed her direction only led her further into the apocalyptic scene. He lunged forward, shoving her hind quarters, trying to throw her off balance so that she would turn to face him. He gave a signal disguised as a loud bark hoping that some dog would hear it and possibly help drive her out, where are the sighthounds when you need them he though to himself "I think it would be in your best interest to follow me" He stated matter of factly "You'll get yourself in a whole load of bother" he added. He turned about 100 degrees and pointed up the road leading out of the city and the territory.

Indiana continued to walk about in the city type thing. She was on the outskirts but latched onto the scent of a rabbit which led her towards a medium sized hedge lined field. She began to slow down as the scent go stronger, she was a good hunter, fast and smart, she'd caught a rat and a bird. She'd caught a few sheep in her lie but they weren't too common in these parts, more the abandoned rural areas. She had been so focused on remember past hunts that she didn't realise how close she was to her prey, it was already alerted, she ran for it a moment before it darted of, she was breathing down its neck almost. They hardest part about catching rabbits was the grabbing, where with she it was the actual take down. She jumped almost missing the rabbit, almost. She has stepped on a back foot. She snatched it up and made a meal of it.

[x]━The red-coated retriever calmly sat on a pile of rubble that was once a building, watching the sun that never seemed to change rise and begin its daily swing across the ever-present sky, spewing a kaleidoscope of colors across the horizon in unnamed shades of reds and oranges before fading into the blue of the sky. It was something she did daily, always sure to wake early to catch sight of the underappreciated sunrise that splattered colors that no sunset could match. It was strange, really. So many got to see the purples and indigos of the sunset, but so few ever saw the colors of a sunrise, waking only after the sun had risen up enough to light the entirety of the sky and the colors had long faded. Ophelia allowed this thought to linger for a moment before getting to her paws and, shaking the dust and debris out of her messy red coat, trotted down to where the majority of the other dogs slept among the ruins of the city. The delta silently sat, watching as the pack roused while the colors of the sky slowly faded to blue.

[x]━Alexei offered a half-hearted nod at the female's words. "Should we be off then?" The black borzoi inquired as he stretched, loosening up his practically atrophied muscles with yet another lazy yawn. Third one so far, he vaguely thought. Whatever, he'd wake up on the trek to... wherever exactly it was they were going to be hunting. He shook out his coat in an attempt to get the pebbles, dust, and other various forms of debris tangled in the long fur out. His attempts were futile, to say the least. To any unknowing onlooking dog, it'd seem as if he were trying to shake water out of his pelage, but nearly every other dog with long fur knew the struggle of the immeasurable amount of tangling that occurred due to living in the conditions that the pack had to. For days he's felt a tightness on his chest where the fur was being pulled tightly due to the thick mats. It wasn't like he could do anything about it other than scratching—which would, eventually, loosen the mat—so he didn't bother complaining about it.

[x]━The short kooikerhondje paced along the length of an asphalt street not far from where the rest of the pack slept, rusted cars lining its' edges. Merlot's long, feathered tail gave a flick of agitation, swaying behind him almost nervously. He was doing nothing, and that's exactly what bothered him. Nothing bothered him. Doing absolutely nothing. Actually, that was a lie. Everything about doing nothing is what bothered him. Bothered. Bothered? That wasn't the right word. Too vague. It made him feel angry, doing nothing. Frustrated him, that was the word. The short male's thoughts were flying and he had nothing to do to calm them. He didn't even know what he was thinking about any more. Why would anyone think about how a word was, well... a word? He sat beside a rusted SUV, setting to work counting the places where the peeling blue paint remained. Anything to get his mind off of... his mind, if that made any sense.

"Hmm Mercedes, cute name I like it." He said, swinging his tail side to side slowly. "We'll see about that" He teased with a chuckle. "Cmon let's go see what your made of" He teased going towards his hunting grounds, well. Where he usually came to hunt. There were lots of wild rabbit. Which tasted mm delicious. He got up and trotted around her in a circle then went one way towards his spot.

Malia went her own way thinking if she left Corvid too soon. Her passed that thought to the back if her head before going off on her own. Maybe to possibly hunt. Though she hadn't ate so she thought it was the time to. Plus she didnt wanna bother Corvid any longer than she had. She also had to go patrol. She headed to her location to patrol wandering around a few buildings.

Emmie still on her search she had found a small keychain wondering if it was of any use, but it sure jingled keeping her busy. Difficult but easy she placed it around her neck though just inches off from touching the ground. The small aussiepom leaped from the car window onto the cold hard ground that was turning warm from the suns heat. She began to run in one direction she wasn't looking forward. A big mistake would that cause, she ran onto something rather larger than her. She looked up to see the brown and white coated canine. "Sorry! That was an accident" She spoked rather nervously and embarrassed. Emmie should have been more careful.

Cole wandered around the city, today on the outskirt going for a small hunt. His stomach growled, unsettling the canine. His ears perked with the sound of rubble falling and moving about. His head pointed to one direction, as he instantly ran over looking around. Leaning his head down sniffing out Whatever it was. Turning out that it was really just nothing. Although the wind was in his favor and he smelled a rabbit.. But it wasn't alone, he could smell some..one else. He continued to where the scent was as he saw another canine making a meal out of the rabbit. Looking at her he stayed at a distance. The large canine started walking off towards where he could find a meal for himself and left.

Corvid - 5 》 Cyris - 5

Corvid continued towards the pack ground, picking up his pace to a slow trot. While there wasn't any reason to waste time, there also wasn't any reason to use up all his energy. It took him a few minutes to get close, his morning patrol having put him quite far out. He paused, ears swiveling, as something crashed several yards behind him. The alpha spun on his heels, seeing the source of this. A good sized chunk of cement had fallen off of one of the buildings, which was concerning, but not at all surprising. He'd have to remember to stay out of that particular one, as well as warn the others that it may continue to break down.

CyrisFemaleGreyhoundLonerTagged; Chief
Cyris involuntarily let out a yelp as the brute's large paws made contact with her hind quarters. While it was more out of shock than pain, it did still hurt, though that was not something that she was likely to admit. She let out a low growl, spinning on her heels and backing up a few yards (still in the direction she was aiming to go). The greyhound dismissed his warning, snapping out her own response. "What the hell's your problem?!" Her eyes narrowed at the Malinois, making sure to keep a bit more distance between them than before. "A pretty lady comes into town, and you treat her like this? You're not worth my time." Her ears pinned back against her skull, teeth barred. If anything, she was determined than anything to stay, her large ego not allowing her to back down.
