The canine gave a short chuckle at Malia's reply, turning his head to glance over at her as they walked. "Well thank you, that's very nice to hear." It truly was. At times, he doubted his own ability to lead an entire back, though luckily, he had never made any large mistakes in regard to them. It was only on his bad days, however, and it pushed him to work harder at making the pack the best he could given the current situation. Of course, things weren't perfect, but nothing was anymore. He thought for a moment before answering the Collie's question, shaking his head softly as he did. "Not specifically, no. Things seem to be in order, so I'll probably just check in with the others throughout the day so see if they've picked up on anything that I haven't." Corvid was heading back towards the main pack grounds, where many of them seemed to sleep and hang around.

The slim canine quickly hopped forward as she was snapped at, casting a rather irritated glance back towards him. She quickly covered this up with her usual, slightly teasing expression, shaking her head and making a low clicking sound, as if she were scolding him for his behavior. "Sure, sure, I'm going." Of course, she was only heading deeper into the city, where she would turn and head back out were she truly trying to run away from him. She felt his whiskers briefly skim her heels, his teeth narrowly missing. "Hey! Be nice to the lady." She picked up her pace, heading at a slow trot and watching the brute carefully. If he started to go after her, she's pick up her speed once more. Cyris was unsure if he really wanted a chase, so his actions were somewhat confusing. He hadn't tried to outright attack her, and she assumed that was something he'd do before letting her get away, if he was planning on it. She'd run if he'd chase, though she'd really rather not.
