He looked at her then back at the ground. "I'm sorry to hear that..." he said sniffing the ground some more, the tracks and scent of the young pup fading away. He looked up and narrowed his eyes as he spotted a fae (Ayana) in the distance. "Loner." he said watching what the other fae was doing.

Mason nodded. "Did I mention you don't want to mess with me uncle? He's one mean Alpha after my mom died." he said sniffing the air.

"No your fine. Stay." he paused. "You know he's probably just off in the grasslands chasing wild animals." he looked at her. "Cause I'm not picking up any scents anymore. I'm going back to camp to wait and see if he comes back." he said starting to turn around.

She looked up at him ready to follow back towards camp. She took one last look behind her towards where Mason was last seen. She looked back at Alure,their eyes locking for a split second and she looked down at her paws blushing

Ayana's head jolted upwards, when she picked up two new scents in the area. Sniffing the air cautiously, she looked around, not yet rising to her feet.

Her dark blue eyes were narrowed in suspicion, as she sharply studied her surroundings. Her instincts urged her to rise, so she did, wanting to be alert in case an attack came.

She stood still, poised and ready, her senses all sharpened, and her ears flicked, trying to catch any nearby sounds. Then pawsteps coming from far behind caused the white colored fae to whirl around in alarm.

"...am I being stalked?"

She squinted into the distance, making out two wolf shapes. She locked her gaze on them, just staring while standing still, silently observing, trying to find out if they were a threat that she should be concerned about.

At the young pup's warning, Trey just lightly shrugged his shoulders. "I'm not afraid, no one's completely heartless." He murmured gently, smiling down at Mason. "I just want to see you safely home."

He paused, stopping in his tracks for a brief moment, and thoughtfully glanced up towards the sky.

"Your uncle is probably worried. I do hope we stumble upon something that you recognize soon, like a landmark that may lead us to where you live."

He then continued on his way, glancing around at the trees that surrounded the two canines, still sniffing the air occasionally in hopes of picking up scents of other wolves.

He padded along swiftly, his coat shinning and blowing slightly in the spring wind. Looking back to make sure Ice was following. "You coming? Or do I need to slow down?" he said with a slight chuckle.

Mason bolted over to a small hill he recognized. "Were getting close! This is the rock my uncle sits on at night." he said sniffing it.

The Male walked the perimeter of camp searching for any treats or dangers but he was extremely bored. He missed everything in camp to do patrol but he really didn't mind.

The Hunter looked around, she had just caught a sleeping elk Calf and needed to get it back to camp. She sighed not seeing any help so she grabbed its back leg with her Jaw and started pulling it back to camp.

The Fighter saw Athena go into her den and she smirked an evil smirk. She was by far older and wiser than Athena and she knew she would win. "Athena, may I have a word with you?" she asked sweetly.

Akira sat by the den and sighed watching the pack. He saw the gears in Rakshas head turning and knew she was going to challenge the alpha. She was stupid but he believed whole heartedly that she could Beat Athena.

Ayana's slender bodice swayed as she took a few steps backward, her hardened gaze still lingering on the canine figures in the distance. The white fae's muscles relaxed slightly, when it seemed they'd started to depart. But then one of the two wolves stopped, and turned back to face her direction.

She hesitated, her instincts urging her to flee. But she began to ponder on whether that would be the wisest action in such a grave situation. For running would certainly give away her position, (if they hadn't spotted her already) and the strangers then would most likely give chase, especially if they were pack wolves and she was on or near their territory. She was fast, but to outrun both of them would be a miracle, even for a speedy she-wolf like herself. Then again, if she waited until they approached her and a fight broke out, she would be outnumbered.

Though Ayana was also talented warrior, against two adult wolves wouldn't stand much of a chance.

"Think, Ayana......"

The third option was to wait calmly and quietly, lying low on hopes that the twosome would deem her not a threat, or overlook her completely. However, while it seemed like the least violent option, it also came with a huge risk, as the others might advance towards her anyway, which would probably have a rather horrific outcome.

And if she approached them herself, well, that would just be stupid. Ayana knew from past experience that talking things out was never easy, specifically when one of the wolves was a trespasser on pack territory.

Time was running out, she knew she had to make a decision, and fast.

Trey gave a vague nod, glancing around as he felt the fur of the scruff of his neck began to bristle. "That's....good." He muttered, lifting his eyes to the sky for the second time. He was beginning to feel superstitious. Perhaps his mother had been right. He wasn't sure he felt so comfortable roaming the woods close to pack territory, much less escorting a pup. Ayana had told him many times that he was young, and naive. And she was correct, even though be despised admitting it.

Hopefully they would get even closer, and Mason would be able to find his way back home without Trey's assistance.

"Anything else feeling familiar?"

He whispered the words, a shudder running down his spine. The youngster had mentioned that his uncle was no kind and forgiving wolf. So how would be feel if he discovered a loner hanging out with his nephew?

It sickened Trey to even think about what the consequences might be. He was no fighter, having never been taught any form of self defense by either of his parents. The only "fighting" he had ever performed was the occasional wrestling as a young pup with his siblings.

The leaves crunched under his paws, as he continued looking warily left and right with each step.

Alure swung around. "Hmm..." he smelt the air as he got a whiff of the loners but still no scent of Mason. "You stay here I'll go investigate. I don't need anyone getting hurt. Specially you." he said padding off toward the scents. Alure looked around and spotted Mason with "Loner.." he growled padding up to Mason. "What do you think your doing young man? Running off outside of camp?! You know could have happened to you?!!" he snapped at the young pup. "There's no buts! Go to your den now!!" he punished the youngster.

Athena opened her eyes to see another wolf in the den. "Sure. What do you need?" he said standing up with a stretch. Then faced the other wolf.

Mason looked around. Mason was just about to speak when he heard a howl ring across the meadows. "Uncle!" he said looking around. Then he spotted his uncle a few feet away and howled back to him. He tucked his tail between his legs as his uncle snapped at him. "But I.." he didn't even get to finish his sentence before Alure made his go back to camp.
