On a normal day, something strange happened. All the horses in the world broke free. Chasing away the humans from their land, the horses now inhabit most of North America. The humans, too afraid to do anything, left and the horse's land is human free.

The horses, on the other hand, roamed the areas, using the buildings as shelter, parks and nature preserves, state parks to graze, roam and live.

Eventually, those freed made their way to the untouched lands, and stayed, finding a wonderful place, large enough to hold many herds with room to spare.

They found the place of their dreams, their Oasis.

Alex leaped around, twisting in the air. "The humans are gone!" He yelled, his neigh echoing everywhere.

The bachelor stallion calmly stood under a nearby tree, grazing quietly on his own as bands of horses wandered by. A group of bachelors strutted by, eyeing the mares in a band just a few yards away and murmuring among themselves. He looked up from his grazing, watching them for a moment before trotting off, not wanting to get involved in the ensuing scuffle.

Thrush calmly followed a random band of horses, keeping her distance from them, but also staying close enough so that she wouldn't be harassed by the groups of lone stallions that wandered along the edges of herds, hoping to pick off mares that strayed too far from the lead mare or stallion.

The dark-coated mare absent mindedly flicked her tail as she calmly drank from a slow-moving stream. Startled, she jerked her head up suddenly upon hearing a loud neigh sound from a distance away. She couldn't quite make out what was said, but figured it wasn't important anyways. Relaxing, she turned away from the stream, trotting back towards the grasslands.

Violet emerged from the darkness of an office building and peered out. No one. She cantered all the way to a sprawling state park with rolling hills and lush grass. She neighed shrilly. In the distance, she spotted two stallions. One seemed to be older and a draft, while the second was younger and a light breed. Not knowing which to approach, she started grazing and waited for them to come to her.

Blizzard smelled a mare in heat on the wind, and he cantered in that direction. He saw a mare a few years older than him. He approached cautiously and neighed hello to her.

Camile looked up upon hearing a whinny a fair distance away, spotting a mare grazing alone. He meandered over towards her slowly, taking his time before coming to a halt a few metres from her when he noticed that there was another stallion nearby, a draft that was at the very least twice his own age. There was no way he wanted to get in a fight with the taller, bulkier stallion if he could avoid it. He let out a small snort before turning and trotting a few feet back and grazing, keeping his eye on the stallion should he pose a threat.

Thrush halted and allowed the small band she was following to pull ahead when she heard a voice behind her. Turning to face the source of the voice, she noticed a white baroque stallion. She took a small step back to put a more comfortable distance between them before she shook out her mane momentarily before looking back to the stallion, "Hello." She whinnied, returning his greeting as she bowed her head respectfully.

Emperor trotted around, trying to find mares. He came across a pretty one, and stopped. Nickering out to her, he flicked his tail.

Kaia circled her son, aware a new stallion might kill him. She did not want Jack dead, at all. After Sara had left, he was all she had for now. She was heavily pregnant, and anyone could tell. Even though she was young, she had experience, and that would be enough to be lead for now. She was a draft, and strong and smart. Though any mares a bit older then her might beat her, Kaia wouldn't let it down her.
