Bandit walked through the thick overgrown bushes at the park, for that was where he was staying. He had pushed through the bush so many times, that he could now easily do it. He put down an old blanket he had found in a vehicle for comfort, and then squinted his eyes, looking through a thin spot of the bush to see if it was safe to walk out. Once he assured himself nobody was around, he pushed back through the bush, this time stepping on a sharp thorn from the neighboring bush. He heaved a sigh, and pulled the thorn out of his paw. It hadn't gone in deep, so there was no risk of infection, but it still hurt. Quickly realizing he had paused right in the middle of walking through his dens' bush, he looked around again to see if anyone had seen. Worried, he hurried up and got out of the bush, and walked far from it. Bandit decided he was thirsty, and went to the nearby lake that was in the park, and drank from it, being thankful it was so close to his den unlike most dogs.

Coffee trotted through the streets. She hadn't seen anything that was a threat to her in days, so she was pretty calm now. Her previous owners lived about a mile from the city, in a barn. She would chase the chickens there, but once they left her, she got hungry and ate the chickens, and anything else she could find. She also got lonely, and so now she was in the city, looking for companions and food. She walked until she found something that caught her eye- there was a broken rope on a fencepost- probably to keep a dog from escaping. It looked fairly old, but the thing about it was there was fresh blood, fresh blood on the chain, and Coffee now knew she needed to be careful, there was an animal nearby, a wounded one, at that, but still an animal, and there is a chance it had friends. She made her way to one side of the street and kept herself there. She knew she was big, and could take anything that came to her- but she really didn't want to fight anything.

Echo raced a squirrel, about 10 feet behind it, but making her way closer and closer to it, her fluffy tail blowing in the wind. Finally, she caught it in her jaw, breaking its' delicate spine. It died in her jaws, and after it died, she dropped it. She began to eat it, savoring its' taste. It had been a while since she'd had a squirrel this good.
