║╙───────╜ Peter was surprised that the dog responded so well to his whistle, and while he didn't expect it, he didn't feel any fear when the dog knocked him to the ground. There was evidently no threat to him, and it would be better to stay calm anyway. If he freaked out he would probably disturb Apollo, and that was the last thing he wanted to do. It would be so much better to get off to a good start, and scaring the dog wasn't part of that. As he watched the Malinois wander once more around the run, he couldn't help but give a little smile, enjoying the sudden life that seemed to have appeared, that wasn't present in the kennel.
As the dog wandered back to him and sat down, seemingly not fussed, he reached across and gave him a small pat on the side, making sure he saw the hand approaching first, so as not to startle him.

║╙───────╜ Deciding she should probably take some sort of extra interest, Alicia watched the dog flop to the floor as he watched her, and smiled just a little at the cuteness. He was a gorgeous dog. Standing up slowly so as not to startle him, she moved so she could read his information card better. There was more information here, and she took it in quickly, watching him out the corner of her eye as she did so. She muttered softly under her breath as she read, talking to some sort of imaginary dog expert. "Avalanche? Shy aggression hey?" She had no idea how to deal with something like that, but she figured that was something the added classes would help her with. "Likes other dogs?" Looking around in the kennels, looking at each student and all the dogs, she shrugged and mumbled a little "I wonder if you're friends with any of the other dogs in the program- then I'll have to talk to people..."
Sighing a little at that prospect, but knowing it was inevitable, Alicia knelt down once more and let her hand out towards the dog, making what she hoped were comforting 'kissy' noises. "You wanna get out of here buddy?" Deciding it wouldn't hurt to take him out, Alicia moved to the office, got a leash, and, like the others, blocking the door with her body as she went in, leaving it open behind her. If we was scared of people, he shouldn't run out, she figured. Going to clip the lead to the collar, she would lead him out to a run, and let him go to run around freely.───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

║╙───────╜ As she watched the teenager stretch a hand out to touch her, her whole body shuddered for a moment, almost as if she expected a strike, or indeed, the hand to grab her and never let her go again, but she calmed when all the girl did was stroke, and sitting there for a few moments, she allowed the petting to happen.
Not for long though, and she stood again, moving to the other side of the pen, where there was a ball laying discarded. Picking it up, she all but trotted back to Katie, deciding it was time to test how good she was at playing ball. Almost grinning with excitement, her tail wagged as she slowed to a stop just out of reach of the girl, and her head and shoulders bowed down, her tail wagging in the air, play bowing. Whether Katie would be able to get the ball off her was the next question, if she went to grab it, Aurelia would twist and spin away, dancing around with the first proper enthusiasm she had shown all day, enjoying the 'keep away' game.───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

║╙───────╜ Deciding enough was enough, and that he was well and truly bored of being stared at, he stood up, going to get a quick drink from his bowl before making his way to the front of the pen, sitting right at the door and then jumping up with a loud bark, yapping suddenly and quickly at the girl, looking pointedly at the other dogs in the yard and then at her.
He wasn't a dog that would do anything on someone else's terms, and he wasn't about to start now. Genji had no respect for humans, and it would be evident from his careless disregard of the woman as anything other than something to let him out that would demonstrate it- in his mind. To be honest, he probably wasn't aware of the fact he probably came across as a begger.
