The female sat as well, copying the male. She chuckled lightly as he tilted his head to the side, making his comedic-sized ears flop. Quickly regaining her composure in the case the male got offended by her laughter, the fae wagged her tail slightly. "I've been settling in quite well, thank you." the female took note of the male's stunning blue eyes against the white of his face. They looked quite perfect, if she did say so herself. "How about yourself? Are you settling in all right?" She asked in return, following his gaze to find Sadie climbing a small rock.Obsidian

The steps were unsteady, and the terrain uneven under her small paw pads. Her legs felt wobbly and her breath came at a pant, but the top was in sight. Not too much further. She could do this; she could claim this puppy-everest. The pup gave a final push and lept to the top of the rock before plopping down to enjoy her prize. It had a wonderful view from the pup's perspective, although to the adults it wasn't much more than what they were accustomed to.Samson

Morning came all too quickly for the three year old; she had spent most of the night hunting in vain and, as a result, did not get the sleep she needed to feel refreshed. Her paws ached from all the walking she'd done in the past few weeks. Although she was used to running about from her time on the farm, she'd always had a bowl full of kibble and a warm place by the fire to replenish her spirits. Thinking of the kibble now made her mouth water longingly, her stomach growling in response to the thought. She didn't remember the last time she'd eaten, but now as she yawned and rose to her aching feet, she decided to try to hunt again. She couldn't afford sleep now that the day had broken - it was far too dangerous to be asleep when other dogs and threats were up and on the move.Paddle

Having been up early, the male trotted around the den, doing an early perimeter check before most of the pack had awoken. Nose to the ground and eager to pick up scents, the hound made his way around the area. So far so good, he thought to himself before he picked his head up to find a young pup walking on three legs toward the healer. Wanting to be of help, Paddy made his way toward the pup. "Are you okay? What happened?" The brute asked the male, his head tilting to the side out of concern. He had always been a caring guy, but usually his caring front came from a love of making sure no rules were broken and from his love of playing the role of peacemaker.Bosco

Scrambling to his feet after being shrugged off of the dalmatian mix's shoulder, the male wagged his tail and uttered a playful growl before bowing. "I'm always up for a good play session," he said, trying to act tough. "I hope you've prepared to lose, as I've just defeated the great and powerful Yonai!" The chocolate colored pup then bounded toward the fighter clumsily, booping his nose before jumping up and resting his front paws on the male's shoulders. Being inexperienced and clumsy, the pup didn't realize he'd made himself an easy pin, as the other male didn't have to do much of anything to push him off.Cajun Spitfire

Cajun stretched his legs out, enjoying the feeling of grass beneath his paws. From where he stood near the food pile he could see most of the pack members up and about, starting their days. He wondered when they would go on a patrol, but made no notion to start one up on his own. He wanted to enjoy the slow pace of the day while it lasted, as much of the time it got busy rather quickly. He looked about the grounds, watching a pup play with another pack member while another limped toward the healer. He sighed before getting up and padding to the stream to get a drink of water. How to be a Heartbreaker

The female trotted along the hunting grounds, on the lookout for prey. Her small stature wasn't able to take down much of anything by herself, but she was agile enough to catch rabbits - and lots of them. She kept her ears tuned in to the subtle sounds of the forest, listening for anything of interest. She felt a small twinge of loneliness, maybe she would find someone to cuddle with once she returned to the camp.
