- Narrowing her eyes to the girl as she spoke, Meghan pondered her words. Unclipping her pen and raising the cap to her mouth, she looked into the enclosure once again, watching the leopard. She smiled lightly as the large cat flopped down onto his side, his fluffy coat almost invisible now against the rocks that littered his enclosure. Her light frown melted into a smile, and she looked back to Lillian with a nod. "You're absolutely right. I don't know why that hadn't come up before." Glancing down to her notes, she scrawled "Toys?!" onto the paper, then looked up to Lillian once more, thoughts still bubbling behind her eyes. "We'd have to order in some new toys - proper big cat ones - but for now, the toys we have might work!" Grinning lightly, she clipped her pen to her clipboard once more. "I know where we have spare ones. Do you want to come?" Barely waiting for the other girl to answer, Meghan began to stride away, making a beeline for the storage cupboards nearby. Perhaps some of the aquatic animals' toys were still in there?

- Blinking as harsh light shone in a crack in the curtains, Adam shot straight up, cursing his phone's quiet alarm. Once again, he had slept through the alarm, and now he was late. Almost hesitantly, he checked the phone's clock, groaning when he saw that, not only was he late, he was spectacularly late. Bounding out of bed, he dressed quickly, pulling on a camo jacket over his black t-shirt and jeans. "Now no one will see me, so they won't know I'm late!" He laughed to himself, taking the minute or two to make sure his hair was perfect before he pulled on his trusty black beanie, stuffing his phone and keys into his pocket before launching out the door.
Jogging softly to the A Building - he didn't want to break a sweat, after all - he let himself into the building, glancing around for anyone. No one seemed to notice him, so he straightened out his jacket, making himself look like he had been there since looong before he was supposed to be. Checking his jacket pocket, he pulled out the little book that contained the list of animals that they currently had at the rescue. Many little, colourful pictures looked back at him as he tried to decide what to do first.

- Throat all scratchy from his failed roar attempt, Yera plonked his rear onto the ground, pink tongue travelling across his lips. Watching a small leaf-bit travel across the ground, a little growl rumbled up his throat as he prepped himself to pounce again. Lowering his body, his pounce was interrupted by a shadow falling over him. Looking up, his view was disrupted as a blow came to his side, pushing him down. Just as he was about to protest this new action, another blow knocked him onto his side. Rolling onto his back, a small snarl painting his young face as he let out the most vicious growl that he could muster. Back paws paddling at the air, he wriggled on his back, looking up to the lioness towering over him. Catching a back paw with a forepaw, his golden gaze watched the female, wondering what she would do next.

- Glad that the female understood what he had meant, Ragnar turned his head, showing clear disinterest in the female. Glad of his newfound peace, he allowed himself to rise to the top, taking a deep breath. He lowered back to his usual floating spot, turning back to look out of the glass. There was no danger in the glass.
Hearing excited squeaks and clicks, Ragnar turned his large head, spotting a young female far too close. Letting out a long, low noise once again, he warned the youngster to leave him alone. While he was still relatively young himself, playing didn't come naturally to him. And, even though this little one was.. well... little, she was female. And to Ragnar, that meant nothing but bites and headbutts. Baring his teeth to the female in what, to humans might seem like a smile, he let out a rumbling vocalization again, clearly telling the calf to leave him be.

- Bright, dark eyes watched eagerly as the male circled her, Nimue kept her mouth open, a clear look of delight painted on her face. As the male stopped circling her, she righted herself just in time to see him perform an impressive flip. Rising herself to the top, she let out a long, almost musical vocalization, a congratulation to the male. She nodded back to him, mouth still open in her smile. Reaching out with a flipper, she bumped the male, then swam away, spinning back to see if he would play tag with her.

- White paws padded easily across the smooth terrain as Tala decided to explore a little. Lowering her dark nose to the ground, her pale tail wagged easily behind her as she caught an interesting scent. Raising her head, she checked her surroundings, pondering where the scent went, and, more importantly, what made it. To the wolf who had spent her life tame, it smelled like a prey item, and she wanted to practice her 'hunting'. Following it like a cartoon character would, she only managed to get a step or two away before hearing a voice. The leggy young wolf jumped, spinning in the air to face the rumbling voice. Lowering her head defensively as she spotted the male who she had scrapped with, she bared her teeth silently, more of a defense than a threat. "Hello." She replied, her response curt. She wanted to run from him, and she wanted to run now.

- Moving his beak down to his talon, Achilles cleaned the scaled skin, picking various mites and dirt from the rough skin. A tiny noise caught his attention - so quiet that it may have been his imagination. Yellow eyes scanned the area, pupils dilating before contracting once again as he spotted a female within the enclosure. Right - he wasn't alone in here. He had been here so long that others came and went - most of the time, he didn't even notice if they did. Clicking his beak, he considered what his options might be -should he approach her? Or leave her be. Deciding to continue to ignore her, he went back to his grooming, raising his talon to his beak once more.
