Toffee stretched her paws out in front of her letting out a huge yawn. Slowly she stood up shaking her weight around as she began to move forward. Immediately she noticed two people in outside the enclosure, she was enthusiastic. She slowly started at a walked towards the two before going into a run towards the blonde lady, she was getting low to the ground as if she was hunting. Then pouncing playfully at the glass towards the blonde woman.

Ashki had woken up early, but still letting out a yawn as she laid on a hill in front of the glass. Her feet stretched out in front of her ejecting her claws as she contently watched her surroundings. Mainly she was on the lookout for her favorite trainer, she absolutely loved him anyone else she just might eat.

looking over when she heard a screech, she saw the male hawk flying across the enclosure to a perch not far from her and shifted uncomfortably. would he make contact with her? knowing he may, casti tried to relax and ruffled her feathers, folding her wings against her sides.

he lazed around in the exhibit and laid in the grass under the shade of a tree, noticing a human standing at the glass. although, axel paid no mind to her.

not too far away, the male seemed to be floating and sinking at different moments, which alarmed her. she knew that he was injured, and flipper wondered if he was okay. she swam a bit closer to him and then stopped, knowing he was aggressive. there were some times where he called her off.

the lioness bounded along the grass and growled playfully, wishing that there was someone to play with. though she was a year old, savannah still acted like a little cub.

Green eyes trained on the boy and the leopard, an intensity that might have been compared to a big cat hunting burning in her expression, Meghan watched them, unmoving apart from the rise and fall of her chest. Her anger faded, and, with a little laugh, she brushed her hand through her hair. It was only jealousy, truly, that made her mad - she longed to touch the toy-like soft fur of the leopard. As the boy left the area, she noted the leopard haul himself to his feet, and so she sat straight, watching with that intensity that overcame her as the leopard made his way across the terrain. Moving her knee up to her chest so she sat somewhat awkwardly, perched on her other foot, she moved her clipboard, leaning it on her knee so she could take notes.
"Walks with confidence to areas he knows well. Still used to humans - might benefit?"
A light touch to her shoulder caused her to jump, dropping her pen, which went skittering across the floor. Dropping onto her hip, she blinked up to the person who had approached her. An easy smile covered her features as she recognized the brunette who stood in front of her. "Hm? Oh, no, nothing! I was just concentrating!" Meghan laughed, rising to her feet and dusting herself down. "Now, where'd my pen escape to?" Eyes scanning the floor for the pale blue cap of her pen, she spotted it, and, with an "Aha!" She swooped down on the pen, and in a swift, well practiced move, clipped it to her thin, gray clipboard. Fixing her hair, she looked back to the other girl, still smiling. "How are you getting on, Lillian?" She asked, standing with her arms to her sides. She knew that the girl was a relatively new employee, and she wanted to do everything she could to help.

Blinking as harsh light shone in a crack in the curtains, Adam shot straight up, cursing his phone's quiet alarm. Once again, he had slept through the alarm, and now he was late. Almost hesitantly, he checked the phone's clock, groaning when he saw that, not only was he late, he was spectacularly late. Bounding out of bed, he dressed quickly, pulling on a camo jacket over his black t-shirt and jeans. "Now no one will see me, so they won't know I'm late!" He laughed to himself, taking the minute or two to make sure his hair was perfect before he pulled on his trusty black beanie, stuffing his phone and keys into his pocket before launching out the door.
Jogging softly to the A Building - he didn't want to break a sweat, after all - he let himself into the building, glancing around for anyone. No one seemed to notice him, so he straightened out his jacket, making himself look like he had been there since looong before he was supposed to be. Checking his jacket pocket, he pulled out the little book that contained the list of animals that they currently had at the rescue. Many little, colourful pictures looked back at him as he tried to decide what to do first.

What he thought was a low, fearsome growl rumbled up Yera's throat, his eyes fixed on his target. His small, pink tongue darted out, licking his lips almost hungrily as he took an almost silent step forward. Bunching up his muscles, he paused, biding his time until his prey was close... closer... closer...
Leaping forward, Yera landed on the small leaf, growling ferociously as he crushed the dry leaf beneath his large paws. Yes! Bouncing off his prize, his heart fell when he noticed that the leaf was no longer in one piece, and he was unable to pick it up. Lowering his nose to the pile, he snuffled, letting the leaf-bits fly across the ground. A cry that may have been recognizable as a laugh erupted from his throat as he spun in mid-air, trying to catch all of the bits at once. Falling on his rear, he huffed, looking around him. He liked playing, but he didn't much like being alone. Opening his mouth wide, he let out his best roar attempt - nothing but a loud squeak - hoping to catch someone's attention.

A slow blink. A flick of his tail. A clicking of jaws. These were the only that Ragnar actually had life in him. The male Orca gazed into the glass, looking at himself, rather than out into the darkness beyond the glass. Moving his head, watching the Orca in the reflection do the same, he nodded to himself, opening his mouth to view his sharp teeth. A low, sad call rumbled out of his throat, calling once again to his reflection, which didn't answer. It never did.
Spotting another reflection in the glass made the male start, and, with all the agility that the male could muster, Ragnar spun, opening his mouth defensively to the female. Females always meant bad news, he had learned that at a young age. And now this one had cornered him. A low warning call rumbled from his chest, its meaning clear - "Don't come any closer".

Moving her tail so she balanced on her chest and her front flippers, Nimue practiced one of her favourite tricks. Maybe, if she looked cute, someone would give her attention? And, sure enough, they did! Turning as she heard someone call out to her, she nodded her head as she spotted the male with whom she shared the enclosure. Barking back to him, she ran to the edge of the water, and, in one swift movement, dove beneath the surface, twisting and spinning in the water. Opening her mouth, she approached the male, flipping upside down as she paused in the water, her front flippers moving occasionally to hold herself in that position.

A large maw opened wide into a yawn as Tala blinked herself awake. She was still not quite used to not waking up in a cosy dog bed, but this little kennel thing was comfortable anyway. Licking her lips, she stood, shaking out the creamy white pelt before looking around. The little door to the enclosure was open, and so she stepped out, her still adolescent, disproportionately long legs stepping carefully into the cool air.
There were other wolves in their enclosure, but she was still rather wary of them. Amber eyes blinking softly, she looked around, watching them all with a mixture of intrigue and worry. A rumbling in her stomach told her that she was hungry, but she ignored it. She knew that food would be coming soon, so there was no need to worry.

Moving his beak down to his talon, Achilles cleaned the scaled skin, picking various mites and dirt from the rough skin. A tiny noise caught his attention - so quiet that it may have been his imagination. Yellow eyes scanned the area, pupils dilating before contracting once again as he spotted a female within the enclosure. Right - he wasn't alone in here. He had been here so long that others came and went - most of the time, he didn't even notice if they did. Clicking his beak, he considered what his options might be -should he approach her? Or leave her be. Deciding to continue to ignore her, he went back to his grooming, raising his talon to his beak once more.

Avery let out a long sigh, adjusting his backpack and thinking about what to do now. He decided he'd wander for a little while, find something to do. Taking a quick glance to the enclosure's door he shook his head and wandered his way away from the building. He crossed his arms loosely and searched for something to do. He would usually visit Saffron after Yu Chun but.. He hated not seeing the painted dog but, he'd wait for now. Saffron was surely enjoying himself in the dirt right now. He smiled at the thought and made his way off toward the veterinarian's building. He felt like he hadn't talked to that many people since he got here, just the animals. He was still technically learning while others here seemed to be fully trained, maybe that was why? He wasn't sure.. Either way, he opened the door to the vet's office slowly, taking a wary look around before noting a man sitting at a desk and fulling out paperwork of some sort. "Oh, hello." Did he not think someone would be in here or something? That would be foolish on his part.. He stepped inside slowly, unsure if he should take a seat somewhere or continue standing where he was.

Yu Chun, after sniffing at the air and trying to figure out what was around, slowly lowered himself again. He shifted on the large stones and eventually ended up on his side, stretching his paws and legs out sluggishly. He felt he still needed a nap though, he didn't normally sleep right after someone came into the enclosure. He stayed awake, seeming focused on where the door was or around that area. /s/

Ashki's eyes caught sight of the new cub practicing his roar on a leaf. Flicking her ear she slowly stood up making her way towards him. Pacing with displeasure, Majesty raised his handsome head. The bengal tiger was powerful and had a large frame and build. He looked at the humans watching over the tiger enclosure with flicking eyes. His shoulder had been hurting him badly. Roaring loudly, he flicked his tail. Shifting his gaze, he saw a tiger a year or two younger than him - a female. Majesty didn't pay much attention, but still watched the light colored tiger. His shoulder was causing him pain at the moment, but later Majesty would go over and introduce himself. Later.

Clicking her tongue, Amelia walked down the walkway. Her boots clicked on the floor. Looking to the tiger enclosure, she saw Amy and Luna. "Hey." She smiled, waving. She walked over and shifted her gaze to the tigers. "Notice any problems yet?" She asked, examining the tigers. "Majesty looks anxious.." Majesty wasn't usually a anxious tiger, often he was laid back. Something was disrupting him. "I think it's his shoulder.. But I can't tell." Amelia said, then kept an eye on the other tigers through the glass.

Awaking with a yawn that showed off his large teeth, the golden and white colored wolf looked around. Where was he? It looked like the.. Kennel. Bear growled with displeasure. However, the cozy dog bed he had woken up laying on wasn't too bad.. Bear turned again and peered out the open door to the wolf enclosure. He saw Tala awaking in the kennel next to him, and frowned. Bear padded out, and nearly bumped into Tala, heading out as well. "Hey." His voice had a certain amount of recognition, but not aggressiveness, and especially not pleasure to seeing the younger wolf who'd bit into his neck.

Avery relaxed a little bit, noting the other's calm tone of voice. He sighed out a breath and offered a slight smile before speaking. "Nothing really, if I'm honest. The most I'm doing is trying to get something off my mind." He forced out a laugh, scratching at his side anxiously. "What about you?" He asked quietly. He took a moment to think, unsure if he knew this man's name or not. He hummed to himself for a moment before speaking again. "My name's Avery by the way." He introduced himself shortly, giving a quick nod of his head and moving away from the door as he didn't want to get hit by it if it opened.
