Storm
Filly- 7 months old- Tags:Jiracho's herd/Amara/Moon

Storm stayed close to Amara and Moon. She watched as her new sister went under Amara so snow wouldn't fall on her. It wasn't as bad for Storm, but any time she got snow in her mane she shook her mane out annoyed. She smiled at Moon. "Good idea to use your mom as shelter from this snow. It's annoying when it gets stuck in my mane." She nickered quietly. Why was winter so boring?

Adella | Mare | American Paint Horse | 8 Years | Stallion: Aden | Pregnant
Tags: Herd

Adella watched with concern as Aden went after an Arab stallion's herd. Perhaps this wasn't the best idea so close to winter? He came running back with another mare. Perhaps that would be the end of it but no, the Arab didn't give in. He came rushing into the herd, giving Adella a nice nip on the rump. She squealed and bucked at him as he ran past, but she doesn't think her hooves connect with anything. Adella moved a few feet away, far enough to get away from the rival but not far enough as to be left open to be stolen herself. Adella moved compliantly as Denaria moved the herd out. When they stopped Adella munched on the grass a little, her blue eyes flicking between Denaria and Dahlia, wondering if Denaria had won lead mare when Adella wasn't paying attention.

Fantasy | Mare | Appaloosa x Knabstrupper | 3 Years | Stallion: Diablo | Pregnant
Tags: Herd

Fear consumed Fantasy as their lead mare took them to a cave. Fantasy knew well enough to stay away from caves, predators love them. Especially those orange and black ones, tigers, as Fantasy was taught. They like to raise their young in them. Fantasy refused to walk any closer to the cave. She stared at it for a little, snorted, pawed at the ground and then walked twenty meters away from the cave to go stand by a tree. She felt on edge being so close to that cave, she felt so unsafe and wanted nothing more than to just get away from it.

Arya | Mare | Appaloosa x QH | 6 Years | Stallion: Thowra | Pregnant
Tags: Silhouette

Arya didn't feel very calmed when Daesi mentioned how she is nervous as well. She watched her stallion interact with the old mare and feeling a little left out or unwanted as no one responded to her, Arya moved away from the pair. She looked around at the herd and noticed that the newest edition to the herd was crying. Arya's heart twisted, the mare feeling terrible for her even though she did not know yet what was causing her to be upset. Arya walked over the golden filly, lowering her head to show she's not a threat she nickered, "Hey, what's wrong?"

Willow | Mare | Appaloosa | 14 Years | Stallion: Endeavour | Lead Mare | Pregnant
Tags: Herd

Willow had brought them deep into the forest, not a thing in sight for as far as eye could see except trees. So many trees. On her way there Willow had passed by Masir's skeleton. Not much remained of him except a couple of rib bones, coffin bones, and his small skull. Willow quickly looked away from it, her heart unable to bear the sadness that came from losing her colt. He was long behind them now and Willow had forgotten about him once more. Willow was happy she had chosen to find shelter when she did as now the air was cold and snow began to fall from the sky, but the trees in here protected them from most of that.
She grazed by her lonesome until the Russian Saddle mare, Aelfscyne, came over to speak to her. Willow's spotted ears flicked forward and she swished her bi-colored tail. "Sure we can, I don't mind." Willow replied simply. She wasn't much one for talking, but she did wonder what the young mare had on her mind.

Ameena | Mare | Arabian | 14 Years | Stallion: Mark | Lead Mare | Pregnant
Tags: Herd

Ameena followed after the herd, taking on the stallion's job as she helped keep everyone together. Ameena would pin her ears and wave her head threateningly at any mares who started to slow or stray or get distracted. They had to stay the course and get to shelter soon, no lollygagging was needed right now. Ameena noted that Marielle was quite happy to be in front, which Ameena takes as a good thing. No need for the herd to have a low morale at the worst time of year. When they reached the shelter Ameena did one little trot around the group, stopping at each and every mare, but not the foals as to not upset their mothers, to sniff their muzzles and check to see they were alright before putting herself into the middle. Large dark eyes scanned all around for any hungry predators that may be lurking.

Fable | Mare | Arabian | 11 Years | Stallion: Pilgrim? | Pregnant
Tags: Pilgrim, Alouette

Fable ignored most of the drama going on with the yearlings, her thoughts mostly on Candy. She hadn't seen the mare when Jericho had showed up, what does that mean? Had she simply not been in plain sight, or was it something more? A scary thought entered Fable's head, what if Candy had died? The thought scared Fable a little and made her even more sad, she doesn't know what she would do if Candy had died before Fable had the chance to speak to her again.
She was soon ripped away from her thoughts and brought back to reality as she saw Alouette move. Pilgrim had finally come to his senses and was moving her away from the other colts. He pinned his ears towards Fable, clearly having the intention to just leave her there. No, no, no, That wouldn't do with Fable. The mare spun around and galloped towards Pilgrim and her little Alouette, lying her ears flat against her neck in return she slammed her hooves into the ground on her last few strides, charging at Pilgrim in a somewhat challenging manner before veering away and coming to a stop next to Alouette. She nibbled at her daughter's neck, casting one last threatening glance at Pilgrim before ignoring him. Fable made it clear to the colt she did not like being left behind and disrespected in such a way.

Pepper | Mare | Arabian | 7 Years | Stallion: Riff | Foals: Menhit, Romeo (Adopt) | Pregnant
Tags: Herd

Pepper snorted and shook her head as a snowflake landed on her muzzle. It was blistering cold and annoying. Pepper groaned on the inside, dreading this year's winter. She was so happy when spring had arrived, happy that winter was finally over. That felt like only a few weeks ago yet here's winter again. The seasons moved far too fast for her liking.
Pepper nudged Romeo and Menhit awake, nipping her daughter lightly when she refused. She pushed the two over to the rest of the herd before stopping and allowing them to relax. Pepper lowered her head and grazed hungrily on whatever grass she could fine before the snow buried it.
She felt Romeo slip underneath her stomach and Pepper bent her neck and lowered her head to look at him, humming a little in amusement. He must be cold, although Pepper hopes not too cold. He can stay underneath her for now, Pepper doesn't mind, soon he won't be able to fit underneath her anymore though and he'll have to learn to get used to that.

Menhit | Filly | Half Arab | 6 months | Stallion: Riff | Sire: Riff | Dam: Pepper
Tags: Romeo

Menhit shook her head, looking at the bright landscape with her little tail flagged she realized she saw nothing from her left eye again. Thinking her eyelid was closed she tried to pry it open once more only to quickly remember it doesn't work right anymore. Menhit's tail and head dropped. Oh right. Suddenly there was a bright flash of blue and white and she perked up, ears forward and tail raised. Was her vision coming back? Some yellow and brown and then there was nothing again. Absolutely nothing. Menhit's tail fell and her small golden ears pulled back. She breathed out slowly through her nose, lowering her head to sniff the snow below her.
Was she cursed to a life of partial blindness? What had she even done to deserve such a thing? She's done nothing wrong. She had just been happy, full of energy and wanting to play. Did the world not want her to play? Is that why it hurt her so bad? Menhit glared at the snowy landscape around her. Well, screw you world. You can't stop Menhit.
Menhit trotted towards Romeo with purpose, lifting her small hooves high, pale tail flicking back and forth. She turned her head, pinning her ears and glaring at the world once more before turning back towards Romeo. She lifted her front feet off the ground for a brief second, a small little rear. She squealed and bumped Romeo with her dished head before trotting away. She spun around in a tight circle and looked back at the colt, stomping one hoof in an invitation to play fight.

Riot | Stallion | Arabian | 16 Years | Coverings: 11
|| Mares: Harley, Revolution, Hope, Catcher Aria, Arson, Lucy, Dusk, Echo, Taehyung, Nihna, Carver ||
|| Foals: Daisy, Annabelle, Rebel, Sonata, Amity, Bullet (adopted) ||
Tags: Herd, Echo

Riot trotted after the herd, regularly doing the snaking motion to any mare or foal that strayed too far from Echo. They arrived at the barn relatively quickly. Riot moved pass his mares, trotting into the barn in a hyped up, aggressive state ready to kill any lurking predator as he checked every corner and crevice of the barn. Satisfied there was nothing of any obvious danger in here Riot exited the barn and moved the herd into the barn. It was a little of a tight squeeze near the entryway, after all, no barn is really meant to handle nearly twenty horses entering at once. Once they spread out a little it'll get better. Hopefully.
Riot went around his herd, nibbling gently at each other withers for a brief minute before moving onto the next mare. He nibbled his older fillies as well, but made sure to leave Harley's and Catcher's foals well enough alone. He then moved on to Echo, who was by herself, eyeing up a blanket. Riot's eyes lit up with amusement. He pressed up against his mare, in an act of affection and to help warm the shivering mare. He lowered his head, nickering a hello to Daisy before raising it to nibble at Echo's poll. "You alright?" He asked, deep voice low and calm.

Hera | Mare | Friesian | 3 Years | Stallion: Silence | Lead Mare | Foals: Nyx | Heat Stage: Anestrus
Tags: Herd

Hera watched her filly play, the young mare making sure her young daughter didn't stray too far or hurt herself. However, she seemed to know not boundaries and never ran too far from the herd. She turned her head as the new mare spoke, asking them a question. If Hera could shrug she would, "Oh no need to apologize, it's not rude at all. It was uneventful but good for the most part. I was what others call a 'pasture puff'. I sat in pasture almost twenty four seven and I had two mares as friends. That's really about it." She replied. Her daughter came into the middle of the herd and stared at the ground. She looked rather bored and Hera felt bad for her. She herself knew what it was like to have no playmates when you're young. Hera would play with her, but it was winter and she knew she had to conserve her energy. So far things have been good, miles better than last year, but you never know when things might take a turn for the worse.

Nyx | Filly | Friesian x Mustang | 6 Months | Stallion: Silence | Sire: Silence | Dam: Hera
Tags:

Nyx laughed as she pranced and raced around. She'd bolt from one tree to another and slid to a stop, kicking up great clouds of snow. She'd then quickly turn on her heels and bolt to another tree to repeat the same process. She did this over and over again until after about ten minutes when it started to get boring and repetitive. Nyx slowed from a gallop to a trot, the young filly prancing over to the herd, large ears turned forward as she listened to what they were saying. Nothing of interest, they were talking about a long forgotten world, a world that would never return, a world Nyx will never know or get to see. So, she didn't care. she pranced around a few circles before stopping and staring at the ground with the thousand yard stare. It's so boring here. Lonely too, being the only foal isn't very much fun.

Crystal | Mare | Gypsy Vanner | 13 Years | Stallion: Sunset Boulevard | Lead Mare | Pregnant
Tags: Sunny, Princess

Crystal stopped scratching her itch as Sunny came over. She didn't care about the crystals in her mane, instead moving herself so that Sunny's teeth would hit the itch on her side. Crystal stretched her neck and raised her upper lip a bit in happiness as the itch was scratched. He eventually moved off to Princess and Crystal moved a little bit away to forage for food. Large hooves would dig up the snow and a large muzzle would rip up the small, freezing blades of grass. it hadn't been winter for long but Crystal already hated it and missed the fresh spring and summer grass. Hopefully with any luck this winter won't be as harsh as last winter and will be over quickly.

Liberty | Mare | Mangalarga Marchador | 13 Years | Stallion: ? | Lead Mare | Heat Stage: Anestrus
Tags: Sweetie

Liberty watched the trio of horses move further away from the herd. Probably for the best, though there was definitely some tension in the herd and Liberty wondered why. Her gaze switched over to the Andalusian filly that had approached, Sweetie as she's called. She saw the heart shaped star on her forehead but did not comment on it. In her mind it's just a shape as Liberty does not know what a human's symbol for a heart is. Liberty swished her tail idly, blinking slowly she replied, "Hello." Liberty looked at Salem and Kenickie, moving a little closer to Sweetie she asked her, "Which one of the two are you rooting for?"

Mint | Mare | Thoroughbred | 9 Years | Dead
Tags: Apache and herd

Mint turned her head, spotting a flash of bright orange disappear into a bush. Mint's pale ears flicked forwards. She felt an overwhelming sense of curiosity, an urge to go and check out what she just saw. Menhit obeyed the thought, Apache was busy with the other mare at the moment. Turning around she walked towards the spot she last saw the brilliant orange color. She was quite a bit away from the stallion and his herd, she had forgotten about them entirely at this point.
What's that saying, curiosity killed the cat?
Mint slowed as she approached the bush. There was a strange smell, a foreign one but even though the smell was foreign she could smell whatever it was ate meat. Realizing her mistake Mint squealed and backed away, ready to spin around but she was too late. A pair of piercing yellow eyes appeared from the bush followed soon after by a large muscular orange cat with ebony stripes. The creature was so beautiful and oh so powerful. With terrifying strength the creature leapt on Mint and shoved her to the ground. The tiger scrambled onto her side, large yellow teeth clamping down onto her windpipe. Mint thrashed, kicking as hard as she could at the tiger. She tried to scream for help but all that came out was a wheeze. Her wheeze turned into a gurgle and then nothing. Her mind, realizing there was no escape, accepted death and shut down. A strange calmness engulfed Mint, relaxing all her muscles and smothering all her fear. She blinked at Apache and his herd, her last thought being: this is fine.

Foxy | Mare | Trakehner | 12 Years | Stallion: Karlos | Lead Mare | Foal: Admiral | Pregnant
Tags: Eden

Foxy continued grooming the yearling for a while but eventually grew tired. As the air became colder her movements became a little stiffer. It would probably be for the best if she stops spending energy on grooming and saves it or spends it on foraging.
Foxy stopped grooming the yearling and started pawing at the ground, which was covered in a thin layer of snow, searching for food. Foxy realizes she had been rather quiet since joining the herd, she doesn't think she's even said hello to anybody. It was a little too cold for Foxy's liking to be chit chatting, but come spring she'll socialize some more.

Admiral | Colt | Trakehner | 7 Months | Dam: Foxy | Herd: Karlos
Tags: Karlos

Admiral's eyes tracked Karlos as the stallion moved to his mother and then to the Arab cross, Daee. He watched him groom her and the colt tilted his head ever so slightly. Was he going to cover the mare again? Is that a thing you do? The mare drifted asleep and Karlos went over to one of the original mares, Skye. He flared is nostrils and curled his upper lip. That mare was in heat. He shook his head and watched the stallion interact with the somewhat moody looking mare, wondering how he'll handle her.

I smile at the other mares as we arrive in the barn. I lip Carver's mane gently, taking in all of the new faces. Riot knows not to get close to foals, which makes me feel much more comfortable. I feel quite relieved that Carver is a filly. If she had been a colt, I don't know how I would've found a herd. Would Riot have tried to kill her? I guess I'll never know. I'm happy I'll never know. I look down at my filly with loving eyes.

I look around the barn, expecting to see humans, but there are none. The barn looks like it hasn't been occupied in a very long time. Why did we come here? I look around as all of the horses are getting settled. Well, it is significantly warmer in here... And the snow can't get through the roof. Oh! Shelter! I bounce up and down, proud of myself for figuring out the mystery.

I nuzzle Merlot as he grooms me, feeling my body relax. I nicker back to him gently. This overhang won't be good enough shelter for too long. We will have to move soon. I shake my head, not wanting to worry about that now. I finally feel comfortable, something I haven't felt in a long time. I just want to bathe in this feeling for a little bit. I almost am always thinking about the herd. Its just how I am. I deserve a little relaxation time.

I trot closer to the herd in attempt to keep warm when Wash nickers to me. I nicker back and press myself against the stallion and one of the other mares, not being able to tell which.

I shift uncomfortably and stop grooming her as she speaks. No, it isn't rude. I was being trained to do rodeos. What about you? I nicker. I'm really just not one for conversation, and I hope the mare doesn't think that I am being curt with her.

I frown at Fantasy. Get over yourself. This cave isn't being occupied. Besides, any smart predator would've already found shelter. There are no paw prints, and it is much too small for any animal to want to spend the entire winter in. I nicker. It is true. I personally don't find the cave very comfortable. I wasn't sure if it would fit us all. It is rather small. I can see the end of the cave from where I am standing. The only thing that bothers me is that the only exit is the entrance as well. The cave doesn't go any deeper. If it makes you feel any better, I'm moving us again soon. I think the snow will begin to fall heavier and we need to wait it out in here.

I listen carefully to my mother's conversation. I make a mental note to always check for any sign of animals before entering a shelter. I wonder where my mother learned that! I watch the other mare and feel a bit squeamish myself. Her discomfort makes me feel uncomfortable as well. My mothers words sooth me though, and I am easily able to relax again. Besides, our stallion is big and scary. He could protect us, couldn't he?

I laugh at the little foal. Fear is the only way to gain respect. This foal already fears me. I should have no problem chasing him out of this herd when the time comes. I move closer to him, inspecting him. He looks healthy enough. He will make a fine stallion. I wrap myself around Inez on the opposite side of her foal, hoping that my already wooly coat will provide a good amount of warmth for her.

Glancing at Foxy Eden walked away a little ways and nibbled at some grass as well as some bark and twigs knowing that any vegetation was good vegetation so long as it wasn't poisonous, she saw her mother doing the same thing. She knew that her mother was most likely pregnant, and was excited to possibly have a half sibling.

Skye grazed and made her way over to Foxy as she did so, she respected this lead mare. She wanted to be able to make friends with her and maybe help her out if needed.

KAIA

Mare|Stallion: Jericho|Foals: Sarafina|Pregnent

Pushing her foal closer to the middle, Kaia nipped Sara's rump if she tried to follow her mother. Pushing her back again, Kaia took a deep breath. Then, letting out her truer self and trotted around. The cold kept her mind clear. After her little run was finished, Kaia trotted up to Candy and Jericho. "Hey." She neighed quietly, embarrassed about her foal-like playing.

Coffee woke up in the morning feeling much better than she had yesterday. She stretched and yawned. She got up silently and and made her way out slowly careful not to make any noise to avoid disturbing Alex's sleep. Coffee sniffed the air warily with her ears pricked alert for any signs of dangers. Finally she relaxed and found a spot not too far from the place they slept and started to graze still stopping now and then to check for danger.

ALEX

Stallion|Mares: Coffee|Foals: None/2

Alex woke up to no Coffee. Trotting out, he saw her and galloped over. "You scared me." He neighed. Picking at her mane, he pulled out a few sprigs of grass. "Would you like to go look for mares with me? I just want to see if any are around. If so, we could offer them shelter." He asked.

Diamond in the Rough | Diva | Mare | 7 years | QH | Herd; Judas | Foals; 0 | Heat stage; 0 | Tag; Judas

Diva nodded and galloped after the stallion, racing toward the new mare. Although older, she would be an easy target to round up. The mare followed suit as they drove the mare one way, then another, nipping at the painted horse's flank as they drove her. Diva held her head low, pinning her ears to show her dominance right from the start, a smirk growing on her face.

Seeing the mare hadn't responded, the stallion simply pushed her in with the other mares before digging up something to eat. He snorted as the snowflakes hit his pelt, feeling annoyed at the cold. He picked up a large mouthful of grass and snow, letting the snow melt in his mouth for a drink. Once he swallowed, the stallion made his way back to Crystal and Princess. (Sorry for the sucky post)

City of Fallen Angels | Lucifer | Stallion | 4 years | Gypsy Vanner | Mares; Genevieve | Coverings; 0 | Tag; Genevieve, Feather

Lucifer, noting the Hanoverian's angry body language, approached cautiously. He stopped about ten feet from the mare, deciding to give her a very wide berth just in case. The last thing he wanted was to make this mare feel trapped by getting too close. He could've sworn he saw a tear fall from the mare's face, but with his distance it could've easily been a trick of the light. He heard his mare approach as well, probably trying to help. The stallion trotted up to Gene, wanting to keep her a safe distance away from the mare, but allowing her to be close enough to still talk to her. Lou then turned his eye back on the Hanoverian mare. Although she was injured, she was still quite beautiful and would make a fine edition to their little group. He nickered again to the mare, keeping his body language calm and non threatening.

The appaloosa noticed her son approach the other colt, causing her to sigh. He was getting older and more full of himself by the day, a fact that scared her. She didn't like her baby growing into a stallion, but sooner or later she would have to accept it. Kepner kept an ear on the colts while keeping the other ear on the older stallions, ready to step in if she needed to.

Cobalt Blue | Cody | Colt | 11 months | Herd; Aden | Appaloosa | Mares; none yet | Coverings; none | Tag; Herd

Cody smiled as his friend nipped back at him, although it hadn't really hurt it was still a good practice for the colts. They would need to practice being able to fight and snake mares for their future, although that aspect didn't sound all that appealing to Cody. In a few months he'd likely be pushed out of the herd if he showed any interest in Aden's mares. Taking a minute to catch his breath, the colt shook out his mane before trotting up to Prince. His body seemingly frozen, the colt exhaled and started to freak out when he could see his breath. With his first winter having been when he was so young, he didn't really remember how the whole 'snow' thing worked.

Dash of Class | Daesi | Mare | 20 years | Arabian | Herd; Thowra's |

Daesi's head turned as the six year old left them, her heart falling a little. She felt guilty for forgetting the mare, as her brain wasn't what it used to be. She watched as the mare made her way to a very upset golden filly, her heart going out to the both of them. The dappled grey mare dipped her head in response to the stallion's statement before he too moved off from her. She lowered her head and scooped a mouthful of the cold snow into her mouth, before picking her head up to watch the herd. Letting the snow in her mouth slowly melt, the old mare kept an eye on Arya, the mare that had been so kind to her before, making a promise to herself that she would make it up to the younger mare.

The cherry bay smiled as Ameena nibbled lightly at her chest before turning her attention away. She looked to the sky to watch the snowflakes fall while the lead mare decided where the herd would take shelter. A barn would be good, although it would be weird to be back in a barn after spending so much time out of one. Diana lowered her gaze as the herd began to move off, making sure she stayed nearer to the middle of the herd. The incident with Dakota had made her feel a little uneasy to walk on the outer edge of the herd.

Zodiac Princess | Lucy | Mare | 9 years | Arabian | Herd; Riot's | Foals; 0 | Heat stage; pregnant (3/4 seasons) | Tag; herd

Seeing as the mare behind her didn't respond to her kick, the liver chestnut mare began to make her way through the herd, anger and annoyance fueling her actions. She pinned her ears at each mare, making them move out of her way before she came across a peaceful looking Akhal-Teke mare. Although this mare was quite tall in comparison to Lucy, the mare snorted at her, being annoyed that she got to be peaceful while Lucy was riled up. A mare of her age should know better, as snow had started to fall and she should be conserving her energy, but the mare didn't listen to that logic. All she knew was that she was upset and full of negative energy and didn't know how to get rid of it.

Merideth nodded her head in response as the gypsy vanner mare spoke. "It's nice to meet you, Lily," Merideth said sweetly. "Why yes, winter is good for conflict resolution. Stallions seem to let the colder months go by quite peacefully, since an injury in these months would probably be fatal..." The mare lowered her head, relaxing in the other mare's presence. She followed the mare's gaze to look at a couple of three month old foals, the gypsy vanner looking foal she assumed belonged to this mare. "She's beautiful. What's her name?" Merideth asked curiously. Perhaps this filly would grow up to be a friend to her own child next year, although there'd be a big age difference.

Long Lost | Lexie | Mare | 6 years | Arabian | Herd; Silence | Foals; 0 | Heat; not in heat | Tag; Silence, Hera

"Wow, a rodeo horse?" Lexie's ears perked at the stallion's remark with interest. "That must've been really cool. I've heard stories from pasturemates about the rodeos although I've never been to one myself." The Arabian shook her mane out, as icicles had formed on the ends of them. It didn't really help the situation, but a momentary break felt nice. Lexie smiled at Hera and the filly with her. "I was a 'pasture puff' as well," the mare responded brightly, happy to meet a fellow 'pasture puffian'. "It wasn't the most exciting, but I didn't perform well enough under saddle for the human's liking. Did they try to do that to you as well, Hera?"

Poetry in Motion | Serena | Filly | 18 ish months | Arabian | Herd; Griffin | Foals; 0 | Heat stage; not in heat | Tag; herd

Selena, happy to have found a herd, trotted as best she could in the deepening snow. The snow blew into her eyes, and the female had to squint to prevent more of the icy snowflakes from getting into them. The herd was probably making their way to find a shelter, and she agreed. It was quite cold, she could the chill all the way to her bones it seemed.

Grand Legend | Zola | Filly | 18ish months | Arabian | Herd; Riff's | Foals; 0 | Heat stage; 0 | Tag; Herd

Zola moved away from the stallion and his filly, giving them some time to bond before making her way towards a patch of grass that hadn't yet been covered up by the snow. She lowered her head to graze, feeling the chill of them as they slid down her throat all the way down to her stomach. The young filly flicked her tail, thankful that the weird feeling she'd had earlier had since passed. The little voice inside her no longer told her to be near Riff, and she was a little thankful for that matter. Not to say she hadn't enjoyed being near him, she just felt a twinge of fear and uneasiness in doing so. That voice had taken over her actions, making her feel like a slave to it. Like she couldn't function properly if she resisted it.

Sure! she nickered. Personally she thought that some female company was overdue and more mares would be good for, well, defensive purposes. Where do you want to look first? she asked cheerfully. Are you planning on attacking any herds?

ALEX

Stallion|Mares: Coffee|Foals: None

"Okay. Let's look where t's sheltered, most mares or herds will be there. And I'll snake a few mares, maybe. Only if it's a larger herd." Alex said, then led his mare towards some trees. No matter what,Coffee was his queen, and Alex knew it. Alex would listen to her first.
