Wolf exhaled deeply before stepping back as he let her go and she then proceeded to look up at him. Brushing her hair back over her shoulder she listened, upon hearing that information she was relived although it was too early to say to what extent was the emotional damage the whole ordeal has caused the wolves. When he spoke again she gave him a half worried and half guilty expression, "what?..." she murmured unsure of what to make of the situation before he grinned. "I mignt actually hit you if you do that again, don't scare me like that." She complained, although she couldn't help but smile, relived that he was joking. Listening on she nodded in agreement "yeah, I can use all the help I can get." She responded. As he finished his sentence she took a few seconds to think about it, she wasn't sure if she wanted to leave the pack after what she had put them through but he had perfect reasoning and should just let the others do what was needed. "Sure, coffee sounds good although I don't know if they'll even let me keep my job once they find out who let gypsy in." She answered truthfully, becoming slightly worried again as she remembered what could happen to her position. Pushing those thoughts to the back of her mind she sighed, waiting for Adam to either speak or move before she did anything else.

Aurora lowered herself to the ground in an defensive stance as a young, human female entered the enclosure. The comforting aroma of vanillla surrounded Aurora as she breathed in the girls scent. Her stiff form relaxed slightly at the females soft, calm voice as it floated through the air towards her from a safe distance away. The fae tilted her head, she had never heard such a warm and caring voice from a human.
However, Aurora quickly became weary again as she remembered how her past owners would occasionally trick her into following them in the arena with kindness and raw meat- she vowed never to fall into that trap again. The anxious female felt an immense isolation from the rest of the tigers that shared her enclosure and felt like she was intruding on their teritory, everywhere she walked the other occupants scent markers would burn her throat in a warning.
Thinking back to the present, the tigress crouched in some lush, green ferns. Aurora watched in curiousity as a cub pounced on the girls feet. The tigress nearly leaped out of the shadows to protect the youngster but the girls body language remained calm and open, proving she was not going to hurt him...yet. As the woman left, Aurora emerged from the shadows to cautiously sniff the spot where she previously stood, her vanilla scent still lingered in the air.
Aurora recognised the sound of her enclosure opening once more and darted into some thick, long grass to observe from a safe distance. Usually she would be cowering in the corners of her enclosure but something about this human left Aurora curious.

He needed someone. He didn't feel comfortable without family by his side. Luminous colours of ginger, white and black sparked from the cage on his right. He howled for company. A howl echoed back from the cage on his right. The bright figure smelled of open wasteland, nothing Aka had smelled before. They sniffed each other through the bars of the cage, knowing this would be the start of a long and strong friendship.

she glanced up when amelia called to her, and she smiled at the girl kindly, enjoying her company. "i'll probably be going over to the wild african dogs to see how they're doing, since I believe we have a few new ones," luna replied and exhaled slowly, a little bit stressed by today. although, this was her job, and she'd just have to live with it. "hey, i'll catch ya later. maybe at lunch break?" she turned and called to meghan, not forgetting her either. she looked over at amelia again and grinned, telling her, "i'll see you later, too. have fun with those foxes!"

when he saw tala's reaction, he smiled at the little pup and patted her head, knowing that she most likely fully trusted humans since she was born in the awar system. although, tristan still hesitated to insert the needle and give her the dose, since she was still very young. but he knew he had to do it and gently did so anyways. "if you could bring them into the kennels connected to the vet office, that'd be great," he told thoala and smiled at her in thanks, although he didn't break eye contact with tala. once she was on the ground and beginning to drift off, he scooped her up into his arms. tristan glanced around at the other wolves before deeming them okay, as they hadn't been included in the fight, and headed towards the door, pushing it open with his shoulder.

"i'm not a dork," he argued back and curled his tail, sending stray water droplets towards her. a few moments later, duke heard a child's voice and immediately ducked into the water, excited to see human activity outside of his enclosure. after all, he was the duke. after doing a few spins and jumping out of the water into the air for the audience, he noticed fish being thrown into the water by one of the trainers. he swiftly swam over and snatched one, gulping it down before continuing his silly show.

Amelia grinned. "Okay, I'll see you around." She waved and turned around, heading for the foxes. The wolves were on the way, and she looked into their enclosure. When she saw them all sedated, she ran down and pushed open the door to see Tristan putting some sleeping wolves into crates. "What happened?" She asked, calming herself down. She noticed two had blood. A fight. That wasn't good.

Meghan turned to the others with a wave of her hand as the pair left the enclosure. "See ye at break!" she called, moving away from the cub. Her worry for Aurora still burned in her mind, and so she moved away from the club, back deep into the enclosure to where she had left the tigress. "Aurora?" she called gently, not yet able to spot the female, wondering if she recognized the name she had been given. Chances are, the tigress wouldn't answer, but Meghan tried nonetheless. Lowering herself onto her haunches to make herself smaller and less threatening to the tigress, she waited, eyes scanning the arena slowly in an attempt to spot that amber fur.

Adam beamed as Wolfie accepted his invitation to go get coffee, but it faltered at her next words. Scoffing, he turned. "Don't be silly, Wolf. Everyone makes mistakes. No one will fire you for this." A cheeky grin spread across his face, "Anyway, do you think wolf trainers are easy to come by?" He tilted his head to the hall, gesturing to her. "Now c'mon, let's go." With a final glance down to the wolf enclosure, he lead the way to the meeting room. They probably weren't supposed to be in there without a meeting having being called, but there was a coffee machine, and comfy seats, so, after a quick glance to make sure no one was around, Adam held the door open for Wolfie. "Ladies first." He grinned cheekily, bouncing in the door behind her. "How do you like your coffee?" he asked, switching the machine on and checking the settings on it. Looking to Wolfie, he gestured for her to sit, leaning against the counter with a small smile while he waited for her answer.

What he thought was a low, fearsome growl rumbled up Yera's throat, his eyes fixed on his target. His small, pink tongue darted out, licking his lips almost hungrily as he took an almost silent step forward. Bunching up his muscles, he paused, biding his time until his prey was close... closer... closer...
Leaping forward, Yera landed on the small leaf, growling ferociously as he crushed the dry leaf beneath his large paws. Yes! Bouncing off his prize, his heart fell when he noticed that the leaf was no longer in one piece, and he was unable to pick it up. Lowering his nose to the pile, he snuffled, letting the leaf-bits fly across the ground. A cry that may have been recognizable as a laugh erupted from his throat as he spun in mid-air, trying to catch all of the bits at once. Falling on his rear, he huffed, looking around him. He liked playing, but he didn't much like being alone. Opening his mouth wide, he let out his best roar attempt - nothing but a loud squeak - hoping to catch someone's attention.

Ragnar watched the youngster bow, returning the gesture before lowering his tail, 'standing' in the water with his tail fin touching the ground. Using his pectoral flippers to propel himself around, he began to spin in place, vocalizing all the while. He opened his mouth, showing her his teeth in a smile. Whistling to her, he pushed forward with his tail fin, powering forward and leaping from the water in a huge breach, clearing the water completely before belly-flopping back into the cool water. This was the most energy he had shown since he arrived at AWAR.

With a bark, Nimue looked up to the trainer, whose attention seemed to be elsewhere. Barking loudly, mouth wide open, she then turned with a huff, diving back down into the water. Snatching at a fish that had been missed as she passed it, she swam back to Duke, who was showing off in the water to the delighted children. Not wanting the male to have all the attention, she flipped herself, approaching the glass upside-down. The children's eyes remained on Duke, however, and she paused, mind whirring as she plotted her method of regaining their attention. She brightened as her plan formed in her head, and, as Duke paused in the water, she swam up to him. Wrapping her fins around his body, she touched her nose to his cheek in her favourite trick, the 'kiss'. The "Awwww"s from behind the glass were audible, and told Nimue that her job was done. Opening her mouth, she swam towards the glass, mouth open in a pose as the flashes from cameras lit the glass.

Tala yelped as the needle pierced her skin, but remained still, tail still wagging. She stood shakily as the tranquilizer began to take effect, but her movements felt like they were not her own. Soon enough, she sank back down to her belly, her eyes becoming heavier and heavier. Soon, she let the waves of sleep overcome her, and then she was out.

His mouth opened wide as Achilles let out a loud, cutting screech. Hopping along the perch that he balanced upon, he opened his speckled wings, dropping himself into a low soar as he traveled across the small enclosure. It was not exactly the large expanse of fields that he was used to, but it was big enough to let him stretch. Landing on another one of the perches, he lowered his head to his wing, cleaning his plumage with his sharp beak quietly.

Wolfie smiled slightly as his words, her mood lightening up a bit. Boy, Adam sure did know how to brighten up someone's mood no matter the situation. Briskly following him she caught up with a light jog every time she started to lag behind. Chuckling as he spoke she mocked a bow, "oh, such a gentleman." She teased as she walked through the door, sitting down. "Just normal with sugar, no milk please." She said with a small smirk, leaning against he table as she looked at Adam "is this why you always smell of coffee? You take girls out for coffee every morning?" She asked curiously, ever so slightly raising her eyebrow as she looked at the rescue expert.
