The fae's face brightened at his words. "Really!?" She asked happily as her tail wagged. Vex stood up and began to walk slowly. "Thank you Alek." The fae said with a smile as they began to walk towards the forest.

Pine looked at Alek. "No. I would but....." She said. "I have only ever fell for one." She looked embarrassed and dragged her paws away with her head down sadly. She stopped and looked around. "I know you don't like me but... just remember. Just remember me and my feelings for you. They will never change." She looked away and continued walking to the edge of camp where she sat down, crying silently.

Ariete laid there, tears silently fell. She then smelled Alek and Vex. She then realized he had feelings for her. "So I guess my dream was real." She muttered to herself. She then felt a hot pain burn herself. She muttered, "Help me...." Before collapsing. She felt her head hit the ground hard.


Passed out.

King frowned as he watched Vex and Alek walk away. He heard a sudden thud and raced towards the sound. " Alpha?! " he yelped, staring down at Ariete. He nudged her neck, checking for a pulse.

Alek smiled and followed. " As I was saying, I think its about time your rank was changed. " He smiled. He was trying to find the right way to say this. " Vex... I want you to know that I have feelings for you " he admitted. " And I do want your rank to change. But not to a fighter or to a hunter. To the alpha female of this pack. " He didnt know that King was her mate.

Her heart was telling her yes to be with Alek but it would be the nice thing to tell him about King as well. Vex's ears flattened but her tail was wagging. "Alek yes, of course. My feelings haven't changed but what about Ariete? And I do have a confession. King asked me to be his mate this morning and I said yes but my feelings aren't true with him. I must tell him Alek." Vex said with a saddened smile as she licked his cheek.

Ariete lay there, passed out. All she could think about was Alek. How dare he? So Vex was it for him. She then remembered his words to her. "I won't ever leave you." Those words echoed in her mind as she knew it was not true.

Pine watched as Alek talked to Vex. "I will never put my heart out again." She promised to herself. "He... was the only one. Why didn't I tell him from the start." She huffed and her shoulders slouched.

Timberfur appeared behind his mate, his ears flat against his head. "I knew I never had a chance against him. That Alek, our great and powerful Alpha." He huffed softly, sitting down beside her. "If you don't want me just say it." His voice was sad but steady.

Pine shrugged. "I don't know anymore and it is not because he is the alpha. I have noticed him ever since pup-hood. He was the only one kind to me." She said sighing. "Its your choice..." She shifted so she could face Timber.

King quickly rushed to the river, grabbing a leaf and filling it with water before carefully bringing it back over. He trickled it on to Arietes forehead. " Alpha? " he repeated.

Alek sighed. " I loved her. I really did. But so many things have changed and I no longer feel the same way. Its not fair for me to have her as my mate under false pretenses. I cant just lead her on. " He was shocked. But she had accepted. His heart raced as he licked her cheek. " Okay " he murmured. " I think its best if I leave some time for you two to talk. But only if you are sure about this " he added.
