Alek shook his head. " You have no need to submit to me. One moment " he added, turning to face Pine. " Is everything okay? " he asked calmly, tail swaying. He knew he had to tell Ariete how his feelings had changed. He shook the thought away and turned back to Pine.

Grey nodded. "Lukara; will you be my mate. Now and forever? I want to spend the rest of my life with you no matter how hard things get, and I hope you want the same." The male said as he looked into her eyes.

The fae saw Alek bound closer to her and she lowered her ears. Slightly flinching she went into the submissive stance just as all omegas should. "My alpha." Vex said quietly.

She smiled wide. "Yes. Yes I do, Grey." She licked his face all over and smiled. They were official now.

Ariete got up as well. She trotted to the river. She sat by it, alone. All of this, for nothing. Two days of alpha and now he's decided to love someone else. Ariete didn't know who, and didn't want to know. She breathed calmly, although she wanted to break out into tears. She stood over the edge of the calm river, her reflection appearing. She gazed at it, her face staring back at her. She took notice to how small she was.

"Haha, you're too small!!!" Yelled Aspen, and obnoxious pup from her old pack. Ariete, being the small, fragile pup she was, stepped back. "There's no way you'll win and become an omega, like us!" Yelled Tess. Everyone nodded in agreement. She lunged forward, and missed, falling. Everyone laughed.

Ariete trembled, and before she could regain her senses, a tear slid down her face. She collapsed at the river, tears spilling over. She watched a tear drop into the river. Why was her life this way? She tried to find happiness after her dark life as a pup but that clearly did not happen.

Pine took a deep breath. "The wolf I had chose. I-It's you. I didn't know if you wanted...." She stammered, trailing off. "I hope you..." She shuffled, embarrassed.

The male laughed and accepted the warmth and softness of the female. Something he relazied he'd been missing his entire life. Grey licked her nose gently. "Thank you Lukara." He said with a smile.

The fae sighed and rose slowly. "But I am omega. I have no choice." Vex said in a saddened tone. "What is it that you came to me for?" She asked before he turned around to speak to the other fae before her jaw dropped as Pine spoke. Vex saddened slightly.

Aleks ears pinned back. " Pine... " he trailed off. " Im sorry " he murmured. " But I cant. I wont be your mate when you arent the ones I have feelings for. Once, yes I did. But not anymore, Im sorry " he said, flinching.

Vex closed her mouth as she heard Aleks words and she relaxed slightly. But who did he have feelings for? The fae's heart beated quickly in her chest. "Alek?" She began. "Why did you want to speak with me?" She asked calmly.

Pine sighed, ears flopping. "I-I understand... I guess...." She said. Her tucked and she just stood there, staring at her paws. "I-I just thought maybe.... Just maybe...." Tears filled her eyes and dropped steadily to the ground.

Alek hesitated a moment. " Id like to speak to you about your rank. In private " he added. Which was obvious. Most pack business was discussed in private. He shot Pine a sad look. He felt horrible. He held his muzzle to the top of her head for a moment. " Im sorry Pine. But Timber loves you. He truly does. JUst give him another chance. "
