Alek nodded. " We'll also have to claim some new territory for maybe a training field.. New pups means less space and more training . " His tail flicked as a greeting as Pine returned to camp. Things obviously didn't go well. " And hopefully all will be at peace " he murmered.

[artemis,]

Ariete nodded. His mention of pups made her think. Did he want pups? Nevermind that, we can talk about it later. she thought, keeping her gaze steady. "It sounds like a good plan to me." She then noticed Pine walking back to camp. She flicked her tail in greeting.

Pine saw Alek's greeting and nodded her hello. She lay her head on her paws and sighed, alone. I wish I at least had someone to talk to. I don't really know if anyone thinks of me as a friend. She thought. Except Timber.... She pushed the thought of Timber out and raised her head slightly and looked around calmly. Deep down Pines heart ached.

Alek looked at Pine before turning to Ariete. " I will be right back. " He licked her cheek before looking over to Pine. " Hello " he barked softly. " Would you like to talk about it? " he asked softly. He knew what was going on and just wanted to help.

Ariete smiled calmly as he went. A chill went through her as he licked her cheek. She then realized how many times he might say, "I'll be right back." She shook away the thought. This was different. She was going to trust him.

Pine looked at Alek and sat up. "Sure." She breathed. "I just wish...." She trailed off. "I wish life wasn't so complex. It was simple before but now my life is a mess. It's like I'm trapped. Trapped in pain and love." She looked into Alek's eyes. "I wish my life was as simple as yours. You knew who you loved." She gestured to Ariete and sighed. "You don't have to understand." Tears welded her eyes, but she blinked them away quickly.

Alek sighed. " I do understand. And before I chose Ariete, I was just as confused as you are. I felt trapped and didn't know kw what to do. But soon the choice became obvious. You just have to follow your heart Pine " he reassured her. His tail flicked.

Pine looked at Alek once more. "But I don't know what my heart wants." She said, eyes sparkling with tears. "How do I know what my heart wants?" She wanted to lean on someone. She wanted someone to call her love but everyone had found their love and she didn't know what Timber would decide.

[Morta]

Alek sighed. " You'll know when you find the one. Your heart will race, you'll always smile around them, they make you feel special. " He smiled. It's how he knew Ariete would be his choice. And how he hoped she chose him.

Pine smiled. Deep down, she knew her choice but it would never work. They would always be buried deep in her heart. Always and forever. She would never ever say who. It would never work. She would have to find someone else. "Thanks Alek." She said. "That really helped." She started thinking. Will Timber choose me? If he doesn't I have to keep looking. She thought, sighing. She returned her gaze to Alek. She smiled, not knowing what to say.
