Redwood padded around. He could smell the scent of rabbits flooding his scent glands. He followed the scent trail up into the deepest part of the forest. The smell of pine was making it harder for him to follow the rabbits trail. He had his mouth slightly open, just enough to get the scent into his mouth, but not to much to stop him from panting. He keeped on waking up until he heard the rustle of bushes up ahead. He couldn't blend in anywhere because of his fur colour, but he was fast, and that was all that mattered when hunting rabbits. He kept his ears facing forward as slowly crouched down to the ground, getting ready to sprint and chase the rabbit, hoping that it wasn't near a rabbit hole. While he was moving his leg backward alittle, he heard a sudden crack. Redwood could see the bunnies ears shot up, and the rabbit ran on all fours. Redwood decided it that the chase was on. He sprang forward ready for any sudden movements from the rabbit. He was running as fast as he could and so was the rabbit, but Redwood was faster. He was catching up. It looked as if the bunny had tripped on something which caused the rabbit to slow down. There was no way that Redwood would loose his catch now. He put in a burst of speed and opened his jaws. And bit the rabbits neck fast and hard, letting the good taste of the liquid from the bunny soak in his mouth. He was so hungry, but knew he should take it back to his pack.
