"I like your name." Scarlet smiled. When she heard Auska's question she was a little surprised. "Well, I think a better question would be do I have a reason to be mean? Why wouldn't I be nice? You didn't do anything to me." She said, still not fully understanding why the dove asked such a question.

Realizing how awkward her question sounded, Asuka hunched over and kept her head low, trying to hide her face. "I just wasn't sure if maybe you thought of this space as yours. Most birds I meet are really territorial and attack me when I don't see much of a reason," She went back to pecking at seeds, still wary of Scarlet, even though she seemed trustworthy.


(I hope that first sentence made sense. I tried to describe it as best as I could.)

Scarlet shook her head quickly. "No, oh no! This place is definitely not mine. I'm sorry birds have attacked you, that's awful." She paused. "Anyway, if I ever tried to own this, I'm sure I'd get picked off by a larger bird, if you know what I mean." She chuckled.

Asuka was unsure of what to say, so she continued to eat in silence. She was still slightly uneasy around the other bird, but she was now far less fearful of being attacked by her. "Do you have friends?" she asked, finally looking over at Scarlet again.

She nodded. "Yes, a few." She said, remembering Virgo. "Oh, I actually need to go check on one." She gulped down one more beetle. "Want to come?" She asked, smiling at Auska.

Aletta smiled at Fish, Screech was right Fish was really cute. "So are you." She blurted out and blushed at what she said. She looked around wonding if it would be weird if she flew off and dug a hole for her to sleep in.

Asuka felt her face turn red with the thought of meeting other birds, (even though I'm pretty sure birds don't actually blush). But Scarlet had been more welcoming to her than any other bird had been, and she didn't want to risk never seeing her again. So, Asuka slowly, and a little unsurely, nodded her head.

She grinned. "Ok, let's go." She turned to face Auska before she spread her wings. "I will warn you, he is and Osprey. But he eats fish, and has a kind heart. He wouldn't hurt any other bird."
