Eve took a deep breath. Chell had tried her patience. Here it comes. She thought, trying to keep it in but she couldn't. "Fine!" She yelled, feeling slightly hurt. "I only wanted to help you but I clearly see how you feel about that!" Eve turned and ran into her den, curling into a ball feeling very upset with herself that she had let her temper get the better of her. She tried to keep in her tears but wasn't successful.

Eve lifted her head when she heard Chell's tears. Part of her wanted to and comfort the younger vixen. But she doesn't need you. She told herself. No one needs you. You just make everything worse. You were a fool to think you could help her. Eve dropped her head, wishing the ground would swallow her up. Here she was, a hot-tempered mean fox, that isn't good for anything.
