"And they block any other scent. It's like they... DUCK!" She had only seen the reflection in the bushes. With a wide jump, Veturi brought herself and Snow to the ground, while right behind them, the bullet hit a boulder.
"We have to run!" Veturi yelled, hurrying to get up while the human seemed to adjust his weapon. Pushing Snow to her feet again, Veturi started running alongside the cliff. Why was there no cover here? They had to get back between the woods fast!
