Maple smiled, than giggled. She drew herself up, then bowed to him playfully, and looking up at him somberly. "Well, well, look who's being all proper! I believe it's O great Jacob, Knight in Shining armor!" She grinned, eyes twinkling mischievously.

He jumped around her licking her.. and burrowed up under her tail playfully..Sneezing his way out from under the tail and into the wet shore. "Oh whoops!" He said smiling

Maple rolled her eyes and tumbled after Jacob, landing next to him gracefully. Maple smiled while yipping; "Your SUCH a goofball, Jacob!" And nuzzled him affectionately, curling her tail around him, giggling. She let herself lean on him, happy thoughts spinning in her head. "I love you." Maple said simply.

She scrambled to Jacob's side. Eyes shining worriedly, she said; "Are you okay?" Maple swept her tail around him, their fur mingling, so to anyone behind them, they would look like a large dark red blob. She tried to warm him up, licking him gently. "I never knew you were scared of spiders." She said lightly.
