He padded into camp from the far side of the mountain and noticed the she-wolf, Nala, in her den. "Hey, Nala... You okay?" he asked, padding in towards the she-wolf.

After Kali's speech, she padded off after the Beta Male, Link. "What'cha up to, Link?" she asked, yawning and flicking her tail lazily.

She dodged into a fairly-sized space where the roots of a gigantic tree curved around the ground to create a sort of bowl. Sand was piled inside, smoothed out by years of wind and rain. "This is where I will train you, Blaire. I will work as long as it takes to make you ready for your task. Do not disappoint me!" she barked, standing proudly in the hollow.

Blaire nodded, holding Kali's gaze. "I will not," she promised. "I meant it when I said that I would do anything it takes. The mountain will soon belong to the DarkStorm pack." Blaire pushed herself into a confident, yet not challenging position. Even if Howler did not, Kali trusted her with this, and she was sure that her other pack mates did as well. She could not let them down.
