She laughed at his exaggerated disgust at being licked, even though he returned the action. "What? didn't know us she-wolves had cooties?" Vernal teased licking up the side of his cheek. At the mention of pups her mood saddened a bit, thinking back too the two pups who had run away but dragged her mind away from that depressing path. "What about you mr 'hot shot beta'? who are you gana pick to keep your den warm?" Vernal knew that just because Aspen had let her stay the night in his den because of the for-mentioned pups didn't mean he actually had to want a relationship with her, not even if she wanted one with him. He was the beta, his only real competition for females was with Howler.

Zrivxir chuckled deeply, removing his gigantic body from the
dry, harsh dirt. Shaking his pelt, he slowly proceeded his way up the mountainside to where
he successfully killed off one of the pack wolves. Approaching the area, he slowly emerged from
the bushes, shifting his shoulders and snapping at one of the crows as it flew, catching a wing. He
smashed it on the ground, breaking bones instantly. Resting his paw on it, he looked up to the fleeing
birds cawing loudly, scattering over the forest. Lowering his head down, he feasted upon the crow
next to the wolf carcass.

Spirit noticed that Howler's fur was raising and she stepped forward. "Autumn.. who was the wolf you met in the forest?"
Autumn paused. "I think she said her name was Mira. She said to go away and tell Howler that she was here.

Autumn glanced at the Alpha and then back at Spirit.
The white shewolf glanced around. "Howler. Say something." She nudged the Alpha Male.
Howler's eyes widened. "Oh uh.. I will deal with that later. I have important matters to go over." He shook his head and turned back to the group.
Spirit rolled her eyes and starred at the pups. "Take me to where you found Mira. We can find her and take her to camp."
