She padded over to the new mother, "Sorry to bug you so early, but you are to assign your surrogate mother in the next to days, alpha's orders."

Quaich; A sad look comes over her as she nods. "Right. Thanks, Ava." She looks towards Amari once more.

He pricked his black ears, standing up with muscle rippling through his pelt. It would seem a mother has given birth. He walked over to the den, a smile creeping across his lips. "Well done. They are beautiful."

Quaich; She smiles. "Thank you!" She looks towards the two wriggling masses beside her. "Rain." She decides to name the small white one as the name leaps into her head.

She looked over at the male, "Ah yes, a family is such a wonderful thing to have yet they can be gone in an instant."

Reg:

"I know how that feels," he muttered darkly. "How are you feeling?" he asked the mother.

Quaich; "I am quite tired, but that's be expected, right?" She laughs softly. She comes up with a great idea for the male pup's name. "Rogue." She tries the name, whispering softly, barely audible, and it seems to fit his dark, white speckled appearance. "Amari, would you like to... To raise the pups?" She chokes out, knowing these pups will never know her as their mother, only the healer.

"Well I know too, I know what it's like to have my own offspring," she said softly before turning to Quaich, "Yes I had a pup once too so just ask if you need help."

Quaich; "Thank you, Ava." She stands on shaky legs. Rogue bounds up to her, his large, muscular body so out of proportion with his short stubby legs and large, bobbly head.

Rouge. The name sparked up a memory and Reg backed up too quickly, scrapping his spine on the rock causing him to yelp. He shook his head, trying to fight the memory.
