Khan ran from his home, with a number of wolves in pursuit. He was still faster then them, despite he fact he was injured. As he ran, he was jolted from his sleep by pain in his leg. He had been kicking so much, he had kicked something (Moon) with his leg, and had hurt it again. He buried his head into the corner, unaware of Moon's presence, trying to forget. But he knew he would not.

Moon- she noticed him wake and slinked out of the den unnoticed she still sat near the edge of the cave and listened to what would happen next. Before she did all this she woke the patrol dog and old her to stop sleeping on the job and watch him. As for she was a fighter which was a higher rank than the patrol dog

Khan didn't notice her leave or listen by the door. He was still buried in the what ifs. But he knew, deep down, there was no way he could have done anything better. Other then, he thought, die with his family. He moaned to himself,"why, why couldn't i have died? I couldnt save even one." he was about as heartbroken as a wolf could be.

Moon- she watched as the now woken patrol wolf called out to him "hush already and stop moving around!"

The voice of the patrol dog brought him back to reality. He couldn't let wolves he didn't trust, or didn't have to, know about what happened. He changed the subject,"you sound bored. Can I sing you a song?" he recognized that the voice wasn't Moon's, he didn't know whose it was.

Moon- she heard everything that was going on and listened as the patrol dog replied with a gruff "no i don't want a song she snarled and howled for a different patrol dog whom then came and watched over Khan as the other patrol dog went about her normal day

Khan heard the patrol dogs switch places, and decided a conversation would be better then dwelling on painful memories. He called out to the patrol dog," do you Want to hear me sing?"

*the patrol dog replied "no i do not want to hear you sing now hush" the patrol dog kept quiet from there on*

Khan sighed,"I will sing to myself then." he didn't want silence, because he would start thinking again,"I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves, everybodys nerves, yes on everybody's nerves. I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves and this is how it goes! I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves..."

*the patrol dog snarled "hush or i will get alpha"*
