she shook her head "Oh, me hunt deer? no no." she smiled "we don't hunt them unless they are already hunted and or just really sick." she said as they get to the meat pile. "And okay, as long as you're okay." she sighed.

He gave the deer a final tug and then let go, taking a few steps back and flopping down. Through his panting, he said, "Of course I'm not okay. This wouldn't be here if I was okay and wasn't stupid, but it'll heal with time."

"Oh... We've had a couple of flare ups, I suppose, but everything's going as well as it can right now." he sighed, shaking his head. "It's just that spring is coming. Mating season. It worries me that somebody in the pack might make a decision too quickly and cause chaos for the rest of us."

"Hey at least I helped not taunted!" Luna said glancing at the coyote, Jinx.Then she looked back at Ryker. "M-mating season?What?This soon? Boy, am I looking forward to those little wolf pups-" She closed her eyes "And hopefully I'll have pups too."

she laid down with a chuckle, "Im so happy I don't have to deal with mates and mating with packs." she laughed "I have been alone and traveling for years now till I came to Montana." she said facing him "But I guess flare ups are just part of a relationship?" she questioned

Harley kind of looked away at Jinx's words to Ryker.'Glad I don't have to deal with with mates and mating packs....'He liked her for sure.But how much?Harley knew he had to find a mate for mating season,but nobody liked him.The wolf he liked, Journey, had left and found another mate.Who, was dying at this moment."I have to go.Now." Harley said suddenly getting up and leaving.


"He's worked up." Luna said after Harley left."Let him simmer or stew.Something's bothering him and I bet it's got to do with mating season." She looked around at all the wolves, some in love,some with crushes, and some just watching the lovebirds.What a pack, Luna thought."It's a rough time of year but if this pack can survive it together, we can survive anything."
