Shadow sat on the trail, She had watched Blue disappear into the night. She felt empty, and broken. Shadow laid down, and closed her eyes, her heart ice, she had no reason to live. No family, or friends. Shadow lay on the trail for a couple days straight, unmoving, just staring at nothing but a hallucination. She became ill and dehydrated, thin, and malnourished.

"Haylie, I love you more than life can fathom and you know that. And our bond has grown so much. I've liked you since day one and well" he sighs "I guess what I'm trying to ask is Haylie, will you make me the happiest stud in the world and be my mate?" Buster jumped for joy inside and a huge smile crossed his face. It was his turn to be happy, he got up and bounced around like a puppy, licking Chloe's muzzle and barking quietly, "You will? Yes!" He cried happier than he had ever been before.

Kindle was cleaning her paws when she saw Ryku come into the pack with a nasty look on his face... "Hey," She said with a smirk as she walked up to him, "What's with the face. Causing trouble without me?"

Haylie was weak, but a wide smile spread across her maw and her tail began to wag. "Oh, yes, Blue," she murmured, her voice happier than one could imagine, "Of course I'll be your mate." she licked his muzzle lovingly.

He smiled and he was ecstatic. He had a mate and he loved her but he missed shadow. He shook it off and nuzzled her "get some rest. I'm gonna get some sleep and I'll come see you tomorrow." He said and walked to the den deciding he will stay away from shadow for a while. Until he can get things sorted.
