"Well, the Great Quake destroyed everything, the humans are gone, my leg is broken... so everything's going just great!" Sometimes girls went for sarcasm...who was he kidding. He sounded ridiculous. "Actually, to be honest, not the best. Reyna and Carl were just attacked by wolves, I broke my leg and just woke up from fainting about ten hours ago, and we're all here in the mall with no food...we should probably find some eventually..."

Capri

Hearing how horrible things have been going, made Capri feel stupid. "Oh, sorry. I'll go find some food then, care to join?" She paused for a moment until her question finally registered. "Ah, but your leg. Sorry for asking." Capri sighed, she must sound like a complete idiot for asking that. In reality, Capri wanted company while she looked for food but she figured it might look cooler if she went alone. Her social needs outweighed her need to impress her new comanions, she took a deep breath then prepared to speak. "You can come if you want, but I don't want your leg to get more hurt."

"No, its okay. I need to walk on it anyway. It'll get stiff if I keep it still." His stomach growled, and he laughed. "Plus, I'm hungry."

Sera flicked an ear. "I'll go."

Capri chuckled, "Me too." She looked around, she'd never been in here before which made it hard to decide where to go. "Which way?" She asked, turning her head.

"Food Court?" Sera suggested.

Thomas's heart sank. He really wanted to spend some time alone with Capri. But of course he didn't want to hurt Sera's feelings. "Oh..okay!" he said, as cheerfully as he could. "Well, we should probably head deeper into the mall, rather than the way we came in. I didn't see any food on the way in last night. Then again, I was half unconscious..."

Sera snorted. She could clearly see Thomas' emotions, even though he hid them very well. "I don't have to go. The food court is that way." she pointed with a paw down the hallway.

Capri chuckled at Thomas's joke, or at least she thought it was supposed to be a joke. "Hmm, I think we should head deeper into the mall, there's bound to be food somewhere. What do you think Sera?" She turned her head to Sera.
Hearing Sera had already spoken, she quickly looked in the direction of the food court. "Then that way it is."

Thomas sighed. He could be so stupid sometimes. He glanced over at Sera and shyly asked, "Are you sure? I mean...you can come if you want...your probably hungry too..." Why can't I speak?! he yelled at himself inside his head.
