May forced herself out of the water and shook her now soaked coat, it splashed onto the pup. She smiled "Sorry haha. How long has she been gone for? Do you know?" She began to get curious about the pups mother and where she was. But one thing she knew for certain was, she needed to protect this pup.

"Thanks." She said, looking at him. She smiled, nudging North with her nose, she layed down, curling up with the pups.

Aspen smiled. "No problem." He barked.

Faith shook her coat, getting rid of the water. "Ma left month ago." Faith barked. "She sa-, good luck living, be back soon." The pup replied

Jazz smiled, looking at the pups. "This is why." She said softly.

May listened to what was said, her jaw muscle tensed. She began feeling a rage burn inside her, she frowned and realized she was growling. "Well, Faith... I'm May and don't worry because i'm not going to let anything or anyone hurt you." She nuzzled the pup and smiled at her

Aspen curled up in a ball to fall asleep.

The small puppy smiled. "I no eat for long time." Faith barked, you could hear her stomach growling, and she was pretty skinny.

While they were sleeping, Aspen went and curled up next to her.

May examined her skinny body and frowned, she thought to herself "How has she survived for this long." She shook her silky and fluffy white coat and stretched out her limps, she yawned and replied "Don't worry, I'll get you some food, just follow me and stay quiet. She nudged Faith to follow her, she turned around and slowly walked towards where the elk graze
