I turn around holding Fawn. "I know." I tell him. "I just. I. I don't know." I say looking back at him. I set Fawn down on my bed sitting beside her. She curls up on my pillow, purring as she sleeps. "I was hoping you'd forget about it." I look back at him sitting in the window. "Mother always said bugs would fly in if you left the window open." I say smiling at him. I get up and try to clean up my room. "It's messy." I say holding this week's reading.
