Owen carefully got the snake out of the plastic and into the cloth. "Never a dull moment." He agreed. This had been his first attemp at a proper day off in a long while and he had ended up trying to get a stilen horse back, branded another horse, nearly been arrested and now the hooded snake?! "The only upside of this is one of the 'cooks' I used to work for was a reptile enthusist but they had a tendancy to get loose allot. Possibly had more to do with the tase testing rather than the animals or thier enclosures; but I spent a fair bit of time finding and returning those guys to thier tanks. .. don't recomend waking up to a cold boa in your bed. She had a good coil going around my legs." He shook his head. "The bed of the truck won't be too hot too will it? The only other option would be to ask customer service to hold onto it and they are not exactly equipped for that. Poor thing does need someplace quiet though."

Friday happily moved into Chloe's lap and stayed there for the rest of the ride.

Landon pulled up to his place and ran in to get Chloe's basket leaving his two new charges in the car while he did. Jamaica was immediately concerned and raised her head up. "are we here now do you think? Why did he go in without us?" Looking after Landon when he suddenly returned out the house door with a basket of good smelling food. Sadly she saw it was going to the other car.

"All right ladies we can all go in now." Taking hold of the leashes and showing them inside. He waved by again to Chloe and had reminded her to just ask him anything if she was worried about cooking or preparing any of the items in her basket.

Jamacia's eyes landed on the couch and she jumped up and quickly settled on it. The food bowls and yhe rest of the house could wait.

Friday looked suspicious of the package given to her human but so long as she could keep her place she did not care. The package did smell good though and her nose was alive at its arrival.

Shinobu let out a huff of air as he laid down next to the pole that he was chained to. The neighbors had just left after giving him more food and water, he sensed their pity and he didn't need it. His left ear twitched a bit as he rested his head on his paws. His ears were perked and alert as he listened closely to his surroundings, he always thought that humans loved the pets they own, and treated him like family. But he what he experienced changed the way he thought, yet he shouldn't talk since the person that did own him, was the only human that he ever had. Shino let out a snort as he slowly grew tired, it was peaceful out and nothing was bothering him right now, so a nap sounded like a nice idea.

(anyone open to fetch Shino from an abandon house?)

Cherokee (Rocky)
Cherokee sat next to Clayton, satisfied that the snake had peen put away. Now he sniffed at the snake-stuffed pillow case, he could smell a small amount of blood; the smallest creature was injured slightly.

Clayton
He sighed with relief "ever think about raising snakes?" He laughed. And took a second to think "I think the bed of the truck is okay, it's parked in the parking garage so it's still shady. I don't think the staff here would know the handling of a cobra." He told Owen

Chloe
She took the basket without getting out of her jeep, she put it on the floor board "thank you so much!" She said to Landon "text me and tell me how your girls settle in." She waved as she backed out of his drive way to head home with Friday. "Are you ready to see your new home baby girl?" She asked the pitbull.

Ginger
She picked her head up feeling the bump in the drive way and the cars engine stop "where are we now?" She asked standing up to look out the back window, the back door opened and she waited to be told to come out once she did she hopped out and slowly walked into the house. Seeing Jamaica on the couch she sighed knowing she was never allowed on this thing and wasn't going to chance it, so she laid next to it with a sigh.

"I don't think Lily would care for that and I don't think keeping or breeding venomous snake is even legal in this state." Owen replied but thinking about the breeding aspect now it sid seem plausable. His connection to the shelter gave him credit and access to a bunch of stuff. "Maybe small constrictors like corn snakes? Setting up something like that wouldn't be that hard and if I can earn some money that way Maybe I could rent Lily's house from her? There is no way I could buy it now but if I could pay her enough to meet tax or morgage payments she might still have then that would be good for both of us. .. All the heat lamps are hard on the power though.. Could you help me set up sime alternate power supplies like solar panals maybe?" If he took the old tanks Lily was replaceing it would be fairly easy but he would also have to breed his own mice and rats for food. Crickets too? Well if he diversified anyway. "I'll tjink about it more.. Be right back." Leaving long enough to take rhe cobra to the truck where it could calm down and relax before being milked and treated.


Friday's nose followed the basket there were good things in there but it all smelled like people food. She had not been given people food in her past home and had been punnished if she tried to get any for herself. So she forced herself to return her focus to Chloe.


Landon waved off Chloe promising to do just that then went in with his girls. Seeing Jamaica had already settled onto one if the Sofasin the living room. He sighed. Landon hated to do it but guided Jamaica to the floor. "Sorry, my mom will never go for letting you guys up on the furniture." He did look sad doing it too. He had thought they would wxplore more on thier own and was now uncertain if he should go with the 'one room' method or the 'guided tour' method. After sitting with them for a few miniutes he decided on the guided tour. He walked them out to the kitchen first so they could see where their food and water bowls were. Both were filled up full with new fresh food and tap water.

Jamaica only made univrsal grumbling noises when she was guided off the couch. She had liked it a great deal. It was firm but soft and raised comfortably off the cold floor. The kitchen had slippery tile floors that were hard for her to walk on as she had never delt with much indoor flooring in her life. Concrete and cement mostly and there had been carpeted areas in some of the places where she had reared pups for the humans to take. She ate from the bowls without reservation. Still wondering how Ginger had known anout the rule on furniture or how to walk so easily on the slippery floors.
