Owen was worried but if Clarissa thought they could do this on their own he was willing to try. "0k but if things seem like we can't anymore go call him?" He tried to sooth Hope but she didn't want anything to do with eother of them and he had some nasty scratched on his hand from trying."

Faith was not about to leave her friends side and backed up closer to Hope hissing and fighting against Clarissa.

Owen looked at what was happening and how Hope was reacting to Faith's behaviour too. "Maybe the little black cat should stay? The two are very close and she has had kittens before according to Clayton. .. Maybe she just wants to help too?"

"Okay, she can stay. And yes, I'll call Clayton if we really need him. It is his day off after all," Clarissa said, releasing her grip on the cat. She wasn't ready to get any more scratches, and this cat certainly was angered. Owen seemed to know a lot about cats so she backed up and let him take over.

The first kitten wasn't quite positioned right but he got Clarissa to bring up a video on what to do and it worked out. The kitten was very still and quiet at first but after Faith took hold of it it soon became more active. The two she cats soon had the small litter cleaned up and nursing from their mother. Owen was happy with the end result but was still rather grossed out at what he had had to do to help Hope and the first kitten.

"They seem to be okay now its probably best to give them some quiet time. ... I wish there was a shower here, I don't ever want to have to do that again." He looked a little pale.
