"Ehhh..." Winnie mumbled. "I'm not tired anymore." What was she doing? Make up your mind! Are you tired or not?
No. She wasn't tired, she was just upset about meeting the brute. Was she being replaced? Would Karma like him more than her?
The thoughts rushed through her mind. After some internal conflict, she sat up. It was time she stopped fooling around and started being kind to Delta.
"I'm sorry." She smiled. "I shouldn't have been rude, I didn't mean to come off so harsh."

"I'm really sorry, like really sorry, I'm a fool." He sighed and reluctantly gave up the rabbit. No dip, Sherlock! He sneered at himself. Yeah! I know what your thinking! Your mind is tougher than you are! Hah! That's pitiful! Want a side of loser with that?Ok, Delta didn't know what he was thinking, but he had enough of it. "Stop!" He shouted, out loud. Why'd you do that, smarty? Now they'll think you're some nutjob! "LEAVE. ME. ALONE" Hit me with your best shot! Now Delta felt like he was going crazy. The others probably felt like he was a nutjob.

Winnie stared at Delta blankly.
"I- I'm..." She stuttered, eyes filling with tears. "I'm sorry.." She stumbled into the cave, curling up and staring at the brute from a distance. What did she do wrong? What did she say?

She stared after Winnie in surprise. Karma was unsure of what to do, considering that she seemed pretty hurt. Sending a glance towards Delta, she followed after her friend. "Hey," she whispered. Karma gave her a small lick on the forehead, attempting to be comforting. "I'm sure he didn't mean it."

She looked up at her friend, tears falling from her face.
"You're sure?" She sniffled, letting her ears perk. Having Karma by her side was comforting. Delta sat in front of the cave, staring at Winnie with a concerned look on his face. She stood up, walking outside.

"I....It's......It's a really long story..." He whimpered. And, here's the part where you confess and tell them your life story. You can't help but spill your guts, can you?! "No, I can't help it! But I can't help you! You are miserable and evil! You can't control my life! Not anymore!" Don't you dare!! I can control you as much as I want! Delta recovered, well, this took an unexpected turn.
"I...I have like this alter ego, thing that I can't control, and it's really emotionally abusive. I, I'm a freak." He confessed.
You know, I would be mad at you, but you called yourself a freak! Hah! You admit it yourself! "SHUT UP!" Delta roared to the voice, hoping that they would understand. "It's ok if you turn me down.... or walk away.... I would if I were you.."

"No, I understand." Winnie smiled, wagging her tail. She felt bad for him. "Would you like to come with us? We don't really stay in one place though. We roam around, find new places. It would be nice to have somebody else to come along."

"Yes, it's a lot safer to be in a group. If someone gets hurt, another can take care of them. It's not a pack, but we do tend for one another," Karma smiled. She liked the bond Winnie had formed with Delta already. Standing up, the she-wolf suggested that they all go hunting, in order to be well fed when the stormy clouds came back. The sky had been clear for a while now, which set her on edge; something didn't feel right to Karma, and she didn't know what.
