The Stronger (2.0) Accepting!

[starlight,]

Shizi chuckled. "Fiesty, are we now?" He rolled his eyes. "I guess I'll have to be the man here." Shizi leapt into the water, his hind legs kicking powerfully besides having been injured. Onala looked at Oro angrily. "No way! She pushed me into the puddle!" Malkia had to decide who was right. She sighed deeply. "Oro, did you do it purposely?"

[Darkness Laughing]

Rin makes sure the lionesses in his own pride make it across safely first. "Why would I do that?" Oro asks.

[starlight,]

Malkia sighed. "Nevermind." She leaped into the water, making a big splash as her legs were churning powerful underneath the water. She made it safely across from her speed. It was Onala's turn. She pawed the water gently and shivered. "It's so cold!" She whimpered, but softly entered the river, her speed slow and graceful. "Hurry! There are creatures under there you have to be faster!" Onala didn't care, she wanted to impress Rin. Her eyes glowed with purity and grace, but it faded as something tugged at her leg. "Help!" She roared, instantly going underwater. "I can't" Malkia roared back, trying to help Oro. "Rin, Go get her!: (See where I'm going here XD)

Rin leapt in after her, being closer than Shizi. He dove under, finding Onala through the murky water and grabbing her scruff, swiping sharp claws at whatever was dragging the lioness down. Rin then swims to the far shore, dragging Onala with him. Once there, Rin coughs up some water that he swallowed while saving Onala.

Onala's honey-golden eyes glowed with relief. "Thank you," She whispered, panting. She looked at him with a look of the greatest affection, and wondered what he thought. Shizi grinned charmingly, watching them with an upmost slyness. Malkia hissed under her breath, even though she was a bit glad Onala was safe.

[Darkness Laughing]

Rin growls at Onala. "Are you out of your mind?! You nearly drowned both of us! This isn't the time to be pretty! We all need to move to safety, and that should be you're number one priority." He turns to Shizi. "And don't think it went unnoticed that you didn't so much as twitch a whisker at one of your pridemates being in very real danger." Rin turns to make sure his pride makes it across safely.

[starlight,]

Shizi chuckled. "You foolish lion. She's not in my pride." He turned and whisked away. Onala looked at Shizi in a confused way, then at Rin. "I'm sorry!" She raced ahead, not even caring that she was running right into a stampede. Malkia's eyes grew with horror. "Onala! Come back!" She chased after Onala, pulling her down right before she entered the road of zebra hooves, but she fell into the stampede, being stepped on rapidy and violently. After it ended, her body was still, and Onala was trembling beside her. All Shizi could do was smile and watch the whole thing.

"Malkia!" Rin called out as he rushed towards the scene, gently putting his nose into her fur, tryingg to detect any sign of life. Oro-having just crossed, pelts over to see if there's anything she can do

Malkia's breathes were fast and quick, but her eyes remained shut. Onala looked at the other lioness, her body full on shaking, and water flooding her eyes. 'It was an accident," She repeated, her eyes huge with horror. Shizi smiled and sat down.

Oro does what she can and prays to their ancestors, asking them to let Malkia stay here in this world for a while longer. "Please Malkia," Rin whispers, "don't leave me here all alone. I... I need you."
